Very good food and beautifully prepared. The wines are plenty so there's a good chance you'll find something you like. It's a very quaint wine shop with a bar and food. My wife and I had a lovely time thanks to Hannah. She was wonderful and attentive. She let us try some drinks to make sure we got something we were happy with, and boy did we. The charcuterie board was delicious and the wine was refreshing! Definitely check this place out, especially if you like wine!
Good service, good food, great selection of wine. Three stars for reasons not to be mentioned as they are a new business. Outside and inside seating available.
They only brought the machine to pay vs the detail receipt .I asked for the detail receipt and extra charges were added without disclosing it ahead of time.The wine was $12.99 and charged us $14.99.They added $10 service charge for serving the wine but never disclosed especially when told them it was our first time.The Prime Rib special price given to us was $26.99 but charged us $29.00.We communicated all of those error to the waitress and did nothing to make it up to us.We had no issue paying but they need to do a better job in disclosing the right price ahead of time not when we get the bill.Based on my personal experience, this is not a place I recommend.
Incredible. I love the atmosphere and selection. The food was delicious and the service was great. I absolutely loved the seared tuna salad; and my friends ordered a flatbread with goat cheese and fig (I can’t remember what it was called) and it was divine!So happy with my experience here. The wine tasting was low key and delightful. I’ll definitely visit again when I’m in the area!
Doug and his wife Susan have a beautiful new store in the Porter's Neck section of Wilmington NC. Excellent selection and great prices with a friendly professional staff. Doug has chosen wine for everyone from everyday to collectables. Don't forget they have food as well. I live near the Leland NC location and always enjoy shopping there. Make sure you check for their special events.
Wonderful service. All employees, Brooke, Hailey, Chole, were fantastic. Honest and extremely professional. I am a resident of Porters Neck and come here for Wine and bites.Brooke the shift supervisor was very professional and knew the wines and pairings very well.
My visit was 4 December 2021 for dinner. I had stopped the night before but there was a private party going on in the inside. You could still eat outside but I thought I would just get a takeout. I talked to the host (Wes) who was most pleasant and with my allergies and party guest still coming in door, I told him I would be back tomorrow instead and he mention some places to eat. He felt bad his time with party guest and regular customers was divided. So, I did return the next day because he was so kind, I wanted to try one or two of the dishes and it was next to my hotel, I could look through wine collection, get a drink and walk safely back across street to my hotel. Well, he remembered me the moment I walked in, remembered my allergies, and help me make my choice for a takeout. The atmosphere was so pleasant that I ended up sitting at the bar and eating my meal. All staff members to include the manager were extremely pleasant. My meal included, the Margherita Flatbread, a glass of Don David Malbec and Castellani Sangiovese. This was a nice meal before going home the next morning. This restaurant was practicing Covid precautions. Everyone was pleasant but Wes and Brooke were my host and waitress. When back in this area, I will definitely be back. Nice selection of wines as well. Smile!
Very nice place, very knowledgeable and friendly staff and the wines are at or less grocery store prices. The food smelled great and we'll back to try that here soon!
Fun experience. Four of us came and sat out on outside patio. Did a couple of flights and then ordered glasses of wine. Many of the wines were things we had never had so that was great. Server was a delight and we ordered way too much food. Favorite was the Rueben flatbread. Holy surprise. Ok the chocolate fondue was also fun and delicious. Looking forward to going back.
