Fun time! There is a membership fee, which was a dollar. The drinks were cheap, with plenty of billiard tables, arcade games, and space. It got pretty packed after midnight. Kind of a dive feel, so if that's not your atmosphere don't go. Had a great time and would go back with friends.

it was 7PM and the door guy wouldn’t let one person from our group in due to being “too drunk.” We didn’t say a word other than “can we buy a membership?” before he determined this. Won’t be returning ?

Awesome dive...straight out of the 70'sCold beer, nice pool tables, pinball, darts, etc...had a blast!

The place was really cool. Old and dungeon like. The prices were reasonable. The only problem was that it was a Saturday during the azalea festival and they had only 1 bartender.

Went once, bartenders were condescending to meand made weak drinks. Tried it again, same thing happened. Ordered a vodka cran and got a cup of cranberry juice with a teaspoon of vodka. Nice atmosphere, but not great service.

Immediately after checking in to my hotel I went to meet my friends whom were inside the Blue Post. Upon arriving and getting in line to enter the security guy checking IDs embarrassingly signaled me out and said “You can’t come in.” After asking why 3 times he claimed he had just kicked me out of the bar. After I explained that I had just arrived for the first time, had never visited the bar, and I had friends I was meeting he adamantly and rudely refused to allow me to enter. My friends engaged management and had proof in text that I could not have been in the bar earlier that evening. The response was they had to support their staff even tho this particular staff member was rude, wrong, and obviously incompetent since he was clueless as to whom he actually kicked out of the bar. My advice is STAY AWAY!

Love Blue Post, friendly service, they've got pool tables, skeeball, and most important, pop-a-shot!

Bartender Andrew upholds the coolest, most supportive role in the bar- as a young female he ensured my friends and I were safe from strange men and able to play pool (in the back rooms) with no stress whatsoever. We need more men like him who are aware and attentive of all surroundings and situations- thank you so much andrew.

The safest I’ve ever felt in a bar setting in my entire life.. it’s ran by a woman, Jo, and her staff is amazing, Anthony specifically. My friends had an interaction with 2 males that could’ve escalated into a situation much worse if the staff wouldn’t have been paying attention. (The atmosphere is great too)

As I tried to enter the bar, a clearly washed up and small middle aged man tried to exhaust his SDE on me by denying me entry. Clearly the smallest employee available, who I wished a very tiny merry Christmas to, he was skiddish and simply inattentive. After ripping up a clearly legitimate membership card, this small boy decided I was ineligible for membership. After the elf dismissed me I am left to wonder who Bluepost let's drain their payroll to. Unfortunately this tiny man will continue his actions until all the customers who were willing to drop exorbitant amounts of money find somewhere else to graze.
