Great gluten free pizza!!

Outstanding pizza and great service. Also, the Southern fried chicken parm appetizer is amazing! Definitely coming back.

Came in for dinner with my family, Grace made our visit great! She was so personable and kind, while providing great service. The food was delish and didn’t disappoint. Thank you Grace for great service and thanks Benny’s for a great meal!

An absolutely perfect experience! I came in late, but still received top notch service! The Meating of the Minds pizza is amazingly good. Airy but filling crust is delicious, and the meats and cheeses on top are amazingly rich! I personally like a little more firmness under the crust, as it was a little floppy, but it was so good I didn't care at all!One thing that's a must try is the Hot Honey. I don't know what's in it but I want to buy it by the gallon! Instead of the usual crushed red pepper, the hot honey adds a tiny bit of sweetness and heat that compliments the pizza perfectly. More places should offer something like this!

Honestly, have only had the pizza so far. No matter how much I want to try the other things on menu, I cannot bring myself to do it, because the pizzas are so good and I don't want to miss out. I love this place. I do wish they had more vegetarian options though for pizza toppings, but I'm still happy with what they've got. We try to sit outside always as inside just seems too crowded and crazy. Outside dining is right on the street but it's a quiet side street. I must mention it is very popular here and every time I go in to either get my reservation or pick up food, there is almost always never anyone at the hostess stand-just a small inconvenience.

I've been waiting a while for the chance to visit Benny's, and it was well worth the wait. Got a very nice vibe, and a great pizza menu. Add the fantastic staff and bar selections and it's a new go to for out of town guests.

the espresso martini was so delicious! And the pizza we got was some of the best we’ve had. Reminded my husband and I of pizza we ate in Italy. Even our picky toddler ate 2 slices. A beautiful place with great food. And our server Susie was amazing.

Shared salads, pizzas, beer and wine. Absolutely wonderful service and food! Well worth the visit! Would come back in a heartbeat!

We had anticipated going to Benny's for quite some time. Perhaps we should have gone closer to the opening. Unfortunately, the review of our six person crew (two parents, four 21-18 year olds): DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. All three pizzas were burnt and doughy in the center - literally with water dripping off! House salad was okay, but the serving plates are so very small you might as well eat directly off of the table. Wine list very minimal. Atmosphere won the second star. Very disappointed in the food. There are so many other great places in Wilmington we could have eaten last night. We will not go back.

Wilmington is a town with a very minor league restaurant scene. Most of the places you walk into feel amateur; from the decor, to the service, right down to the food. Benny's felt different. It feels like a professional operation - a real restaurant operated by restaurant professionals. We got a proper cocktail, in an appropriate cocktail glass with one large cocktail ice cube - as it should. The wine glasses are nice; thin-rimmed, not the typical clunky bar "wine glasses" you get at most casual restaurants here in town. Good music, well-decorated and an electric vibe. The service was also very good. The food however, just missed the mark. The pizza crust was authentic wood-fired Neopolitan and the ingredients were fresh. They almost nailed it. But the red sauce was over-loaded with garlic. Garlic adds depth to a sauce. It should not be so glaringly in the foreground. The kids ordered the mozzarella balls which were good, but the dried herbs were overpowering. This restaurant would benefit from a lighter touch overall. I would love to go back because it was an otherwise very positive experience but not until the garlic issue is addressed.
