I am going to give 5 stars for the location in Monkey Junctions. They have the Best bagels in town. I always order Egg and cheese everything bagel from the shop in Monkey Junction and they quickly make my order. Last week, I went to the shop in front street downtown Wilmington and it was not busy at all, maybe 3 customers and it took them 45 min to make while I am waiting in the store.
We ordered two bagels online for pickup. When we arrived to pick them up we proceeded to wait over 45 minutes for our food. Meanwhile people are coming in, placing orders and leaving before us. We asked about our food several times with no result. They were busy but that is no excuse. There was absolutely no organization on how orders were being handled. It was absolutely ridiculous and we will not be visiting this business again.
Big let down. I was excited to try this place based on positive reviews. However, I didn’t enjoy anything I ordered (Lox bagel) including the iced coffee. I threw everything away. Waste of $15.
This place is such a sh*t show. I ordered online at 9:34. My order said it would be ready to pick up at 10:19. I arrive about 10:20 and was completely ignored, as well as other customers at the pick up window, for about 15-20 min. They have multiple signs directing online order in different spots, so no one knows where to go. Ended up getting a refund. Oleander location
Really loved this place. The bagels are delicious and the service is super friendly. They do have a sign on the door notifying you that they are operating with few employees, so please be patient with them. However the food was excellent and we will be back the next time we are in the area! Much better than our experience with Island Bagels which used to be Mr. Bagelmeister.
