Really love the location of this place. You can't beat the views. Also enjoyed the music they played. Food was pretty good. I enjoyed the crabcakes. The portion size of the fish and chips was quite small but the manager made it right for us.
Really good and cheap food. Drinks were also amazing. Amazing atmosphere and staff, And best of all is that they are dog friendly. Not only are they dog friendly but my normally skittish puppy loved the atmosphere and really opened up there. As someone who lives downtown Wilmington I will say it’s hard to find good dog friendly restaurants on the river, and this is definitely one. Overall had a great experience and would definitely come back.

The food here was five stars. It wasn’t anything fancy but that’s exactly what I was looking for after a day spent at the beach and exploring the area. I went around 5:30pm and it was surprisingly quiet, there were a few other groups, but it was just me and two other people seated along the wall overlooking the water. It’s obviously a unique setting being that it’s the only floating restaurant in the area and that’s a great atmosphere for dinner or an evening out with friends. The pricing was great for the portion size. The pretzel was the largest one I had ever seen and even tasted great over the next two days as a leftover. The only reason I gave it four starts instead of five was for service. The woman at the front was incredibly friendly and very quick to help but my waitress just left me feeling like a bother and would barely look me in the eye when I asked for something. I understand the stress everyone is dealing with right now and that people have bad days, but I did want to point out that’s why my review is not five stars. I would return however, because it’s a unique place with a large enough menu that is sure to have something for everyone.

They have a smaller menu but big flavors for the venue. Delicious food and drinks. We love the big pretzel for an appetizer and the fries have a great seasoning on it. We have had great service each time we went. I love that they have taller high chairs in case you have a high table. The bar has a great variety of domestic and local beers, wine, and mixed drinks.. and who wouldn't want to enjoy a drink at a pirate restaurant?!
