5 Point WW Breakfast: Two orders of hash browns (4pt) with grilled onions (0pt) and jalapenos (0pt) and some ketchup (1pt). Add a grilled chicken breast (0pt) and you're set to go. The chicken we had this morning was flavorful, delicious, well spiced, and perfectly cooked. My wife, not a fan of the bird, even enjoyed it. She mentioned to our waitress that it was better than some of the more expensive places we enjoy who seem to try too hard with their chicken dishes. In all my years of eating WH, I've not ever ordered chicken. That stops today.
Waffle house is a love/hate thing. The employees are always having arguments and the level of cleanliness is subpar. However the food and coffee are very good and I always leave satisfied with the meal. I've been in this waffle house 3 times this year and it is the same each time. Employees are good to guests but are very disgruntled with each other. Lots of food scraps all over the floor. Hard to find a waffle house with all the ingredients to get 5 stars.
Would give them negative stars if I could. Went there on a Saturday and they had the doors locked. A waitress says they were closed for cleaning. Then the cook comes outside and says if we take care of him and want to wait until the others are done he'll give us the vip section. This is waffle house not some five star restaurant. Since when is there a cover charge?
Good, consistent Waffle House. I've seen the same crew mostly working there for the last 6 months. Food comes out quick, always flavorful, always a good attitude from everyone working there. Sometimes busy but, that's waffle House, isn't it?
The service was excellent. The servant was pleasant and attentive to my needs. The food was cooked perfectly and the taste was great. I will definitely go back.
Having staffing trouble so I always plan on waiting. I suggest online order for take out for beat dining results. I eat here at least twice a week though so I always come back. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food is always delicious. I have observed the staff diligently cleaning the grill, counters, booths, and floors so it's a good clean place. Waffle House sauce is consistently out though but I chalk it up to the food shortage. C'mon y'all it's Waffle House. You know you want it and it's the only one local.
Well... Had an interesting visit at 11:00pm the other night. A husband and wife were working behind the counter. They had quite the spat and both walked out for sometime. The wife returned to finally take our drinks and orders. Food turned out good for waiting over an hour for it...
I pulled up and saw an employee outside smoking. Order food, they yelled for him.He comes in doesn't wash his hands. I leave go to rhe Youngsville location.Thats the 3rd time the exact same thing happened at Wake Forest location.I would score it zero stars.
Only 2 of us got our food. Part of the third came when we were done. Then we had to find our server to ask for the rest of the order. We ordered 2 drinks, were charged for 3. Not a great first experience.
