I love it! My favorite place for BBQ and fried chicken. I have never been disappointed. The coleslaw is awesome too.

Ordered carry out. Got home and they order was wrong. Went back and they acted like I was lying and didn’t even apologize or anything. The manager acted rude. All I wanted is what I paid for nothing else. Hope they can get there business in order, because my wife enjoys the food.
Just waited 15 minutes in the drive through to be able to place my order. Finally got to the window and no one would answer or take my order and waited another 5 minutes. Finally pulled around and went inside and they had 20 people working inside and no one doing anything. Waiting in line for a few minutes and then just left and went to another restaurant that served me promptly. The Smithfield's was empty inside other than a short line so I don't even know what was causing the delay other than lazy workers. Definitely won't be going back there anytime soon.

If i could pick no star i would...the food is awesome so im going to miss the bbq but i refuse to go into a place that is so nonchalant about the customers and not one cook is wearing a mask..Vaccination or not. Never will i go into this establishment again.
I waited for over 5 minutes for someone to answer at the drive through, and they did so only after me calling out for someone to tell them I was ready to order. The person who answered told me to hold on. After a few more minutes, they finally took my order. I spent almost $40, waited even more time to actually get my food. I got all the way home (almost 30 minutes away) and found that part of my order was missing, and part of it was poorly prepared. About half of my hushpuppies were undercooked; the potato salad was mayonnaise and hardly any potatoes, the cole slaw was soupy! My tailgate special came with barbecue... that was missing altogether! The chicken was the only good part of the meal. 8 pieces of chicken was definitely NOT worth what I spent. I'm thoroughly disappointed. ?***the picture shown is what I was SUPPOSED to get***
I have ordered Doordash twice in the last two weeks from this restaurant. The first order wasn't good but this second-order is ridiculously disappointing. The restaurant refuses to follow special instructions they left out extra items I paid for. They refuse to seal your food even if you ask them to when they should automatically seal it because it's being delivered by a stranger. My food was cold I mean like no heat at all. I had to trash it. Just because we aren't visible, and are ordering through an app doesn't mean we aren't paying customers too. I wish they had - 5 stars, it's what they deserve. I'll never spend another $1 at this restaurant.
This used to be one of our favorite Smithfields, nut no more. We stopped for lunch and it was a bad experience We ordered thw BBQ value oackage with fries and requested rib sauce. When the food arrived, there was no ketchup or salt. We requested those and again requested the rib sauce. Only a few packs of ketchup arrived, not nearly enough. Our fries were ice cold. I went to the register to complain, he apologized and said he would replace them. But those hot fries never appeared and I threw the others away. In the meantime, my husband opened the sauce, added it to his sandwich and discovered it was the vinegar sauce not rib sauce. Guess we should have double checked the name on the sauce. We requested refills of the diet coke and we given sweet tea. No attention is being paid to details in the restaurant. In addition, there was no soap in the lady's rest room. One dispenser was empty and the 2nd one was missing. The sinks were dirty. The entire floor of the dining area was greasy. We were both sliding around on it! I don't know what is going on, but things have gone downhill in this restaurant. With the problems we encountered and observed, I now wonder about food preparation practices and sanitation. Again, I liked this place but I won't be back.
It's was really good and nice food but a pretty high price, still good food with friendly service.
It's Smithfields...service quick and with a smile. Food is enjoyable. Enjoy the NC style bbq. The Brunswick Stew is tasty and healthy (that's my story and I'm sticking to it). And the Chicken tenders are cooked to perfection. Toss in the sweet tea and a slice of pecan pie...lunch/dinner is done!
