This place makes you full without feeling bloated. The taste is different than traditional American food but still quite tasty and it seems to breathe healthy into your mind and body. The amount of food is a lot per serving, therefore you could make 2 meals out of the one.
First time eating there and it was great. Very friendly atmosphere. We received our food quickly after ordering and it was delicious. Will most definitely visit this eatery again.
I visited the wake forest nc location today and ordered two fish sandwiches via curbside pickup. Get home and the sandwiches were made very skimpy. Each with one half piece of fish and a small quarter of a tail piece. This is nothing like the fish sandwich that I’ve grown to love. I drove from 20 minutes away to get this sandwich, therefore i decided to call and express my frustration and asked for a manager and some young lady that identified herself as the front of the house manager basically said that as of a week ago you have cut back on how much fish you put on the sandwich and customers will just have to get use to it. What a horrible practice to intentionally not provide the consistency that customers have grown to love and just expect customers to just take it all for the same price. I will never be back and plan to tell everyone that will listen about this shady practice.
My daughter and I had lunch there on a Sunday a few weeks back. Usually the younger staff there is very helpful and nice. A lady was working that day along with the teenagers and she wasn't very pleasant. She yelled at me for asking the cashier if I could buy two sides of ranch. (since I forgot to ask for those when I ordered and usually they charge me) She said she was my waitress and he was too busy to be bothered and if I needed something I could ask her. However when we needed refills (we sat our cups on the edge of our table) she walked by several times but ignored us, so we walked up to get our refills. The mac and cheese was cold and she took it back. (no one apologized) After we were finished eating she sent some else out to bring us the mac and cheese. The food was so so that day but we did not complain. My daughter and her friend went back three days ago and they both agreed the food wasn't like is used to be.
Loved this restaurant since I lived in Charlotte! So happy to have one in Wake Forest now! Its very well ran and the food is delicious! The fries are crispy and the fish and shrimp platter is hard to beat! Generous servings and a great space to dine in if you'd like! Be sure to check it out!
Terrific experience! I believe our waiter went by the name Edmond, he gave us excellent service and brought us everything we could ever need!!! He had exquisite recommendations and was a gentleman. Big tips were given!!!
Showmars has the best flounder and baby shrimp around. The portion sizes are great and I love that they seal the bags for delivery orders. The place is amazing.
My husband and I used to it here and he normally ordered gyro and it was very good. When we came back we ordered gyro again but this time? It's terrible, the pita bread is so tough and my jaw was tired of chewing it. I end up throwing the pita bread and mix the meat in my salad. We will never it there again. Sorry
Just okay. Definitely edible, but nothing stood out. We order the fish and shrimp plate, and their heavily advertised fish sandwich. The fish was cooked well, but lacked seasoning.
My first time at Showmars. I was expecting a total Greek restaurant but the menu had more non-Greek selections than Greek. I opted for the Calabash Shrimp while my friend had a cheeseburger and fries. The shrimp was great but the macaroni/cheese that I ordered was soupy and made with white cheese and had no flavor. They were kind enough to bring me some fries instead. The staff was very polite and waited on us. Rebecca was so friendly. Definitely be back because there are other things on the menu that I'd like to try. Thank you.
