Worst experience I went there got overcharged and owner won’t refund me. Food was not good. Looked nothing like stock photos
Tried this place for the first time yesterday. What an awesome experience. A quaint spot located downstairs.The food (and portion size) was amazing. So much flavor that it just makes you want more. Margaritas (on the rocks) were delicious. The atmosphere was very comfortable. And if that wasn't enough, the staff here was the best. They treated every customer like they were family.Can't wait to go back again!

I would never order delivery from this establishment again through DoorDash and I really hope that DoorDash drops them. I have ordered twice now and what u order is nothing like what A-you order and B-what u get at the restaurant. If you order shredded beef Chimichanga u will get a ridiculous ground beef nothing like description Chimichanga has happened twice now. I also ordered the queso dip and it’s like $5.00 and barely even feeds one person. Also forget getting chips & salsa cause u won’t get that w your order. When I called restaurant they took no accountability instead tell u to call DoorDash cause they don’t wanna loose the money so they scam DoorDash cause they know DoorDash will refund you and they still get paid. Very bad business and I hope DoorDash stops doing business with them . I never leave reviews so I hope this helps someone out so they don’t get scammed. ?
A nice hidden gem I stumbled on in cute little downtown of Wake Forest. You go down the stairs to enter the place where some friendly stuff welcome you. The interior is quite cozy, painting of the walls and booths give you that ‘local spot’ ambiance. I did love the quesadilla, fajita served with beans and rice, and classic margarita on rocks (lemony and not very sweet). Food was excellent in overall and is definitely very affordable.
The toughest part of coming from Southern California to the east coast, aside from the weather, was finding excellent Mexican food. It took us a while but we finally found it at Las Margaritas Mexican. Excellent variety, service and atmosphere. If you're looking for a more modern experience, this isn't it. Las Margaritas feels more like a TJ cantina . . . which is a compliment!
This is the only Mexican joint where we want to eat if we are anywhere near Wake Forest. It's in the basement of a building in historic Wake Forest, so ventilation may not be the best for pandemic times. But all staff were wearing masks, and it was worth the risk for us.Pro Tip: try the Fried Cream Burritos and a large house margarita. Both are large enough to share for a cheap date night.
okay so i have a lot of thoughts, the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. it’s the smallest portion of mexican food, even for a lunch special, i have ever received. the chips were stale, the salsa was sad and i left disappointed. i got a frozen marg and the ice wasn’t blended well. great service but the food is REALLY lacking.
We had a very good experience. The staff is great. The fajitas were top notch. Love the atmosphere. It's a great local gem in Wake Forest. Highly recommend it.
