I would give it a 5 but our poor waitress was working alone. Her SECOND day working ENTIRELY alone. She cooked, she waited, she bussed- everything. ALONE in the building. She was wonderful!! But wow!
I visited Waffle House several times through the states and this is the first time that when i walked in nobody said hi. I waited around 10 mins to ask where we can sit since they had half of the store closed and nobody assisted us. Not even look at us at all, worst service experience.
Food is fair. They never answer the phone. Service is poor. Went in today and stood 15 minutes for waitress to say she not taking to go orders. Corporate needs to visit this location. The place could make some money if they had employees to serve their customers.
There were only two people working while I was there but the omelet was and they got me served in a timely manner. Be patient and try not to give them a hard time. There showing up and doing their best.
I've been to this Waffle House with my family before. In the past, the service was great. But unfortunately, today was very different. The manger on duty, Sean, was less than accommodating and/or pleasant.Due to our religious beliefs, we do not eat pork. We've eaten at this and many other locations and they have always substituted the pork for something else. When we asked the waitress (whom was very kind btw) she asked Sean. We could hear a hard and rude "no, it comes with what it says" no flexibility nor good customer service like all the others locations. Since so many options come with pork and no chance of substitution, we decided to politely just order two waffles to go for our children and take them to go. We felt we didn't want to pay for sides we couldn't eat nor substitute. When I went to the register to pay for the waffles, Sean rang me up. After I paid, I kindly asked for syrup and butter for the waffles to go please. Annoyed he looked at the ticket and said, "what? These are to go? I didn't even notice before I rang them up." Then proceeded to address not me but the waitress and give her grief as to why she had allowed a to go order. Apparently he had "very clearly said no more to go orders!" He proceeded to give her down the road, which I felt was very rude to her, to me and to all the other customers eating near by. She explained that initially this had not been a to go order. We were seated and attempted to order, then decided to leave and eat elsewhere only after he didn't allow to substitute. Then and only then, did this become a to go order. He proceeded to belittle her and use his "authority" over her and say that they couldn't for some and not for others.Unfortunately, this wasn't a regular to go order. As a customer, I had every intention to eat there with my family, but due to his horrible customer service, we felt leaving would be the best option. We only ordered the waffles because our kids were hungry.I have dealt with customers all of my adult life, this is NOT the way to treat customers or staff! This man doesn't need to be a manager of any place, much less a place dealing with staff/customers. He's unwilling to help a customer with any requests, completely unyielding! IMO, he's one of those people that are given a title with a bit of authority and he feeds off of it and it just goes to his head.I'd give him 0 stars if possible.
Always good food. Cooked my hash browns just the way I like them.I have found that Waffle House is consistent throughout the chain with food quality and taste. What can vary greatly is service. This one was great.
I was not dissapointed with any of the 4 plates we ordered. And we got it superfast.
The chef was on point this day. Everything was great.
I stopped here for a late breakfast and sat down right away. Eric was the cook and he cooked the most amazing three egg ham and cheese omelette with loaded hashbrowns, the best hashbrowns I have ever had in my entire life especially at waffle house. Everything was perfect and he loaded it up with all the ingredients. Omelette was amazing and fluffy and so tasty! I will be back over and over and over again. These guys know what they’re doing and the manager was extremely nice.
Although it's just Waffle House, the staff here are just wonderful people to be around! Lucy was our hostess and was such a sweet lady. As always it ain't fancy but it's just good home cooked simple breakfast! This location aims to please.. keep up the great work!
