I have been eating Village Inn Pizza since they first opened years ago. My favorite place for pizza until recently. Picked up online order today. Pizza was under cooked and limp. Hardy any red pizza sauce on the pizza. Could barely see a trace of red with no taste of it. Veggies on the pizza were ok. So very disappointed, probably will not go back to either Statesville location unless I hear changes are made for the better.
I just want to say how the lady named symone took care of me here.. Her customer service skills were on point, she was very kind and dedicated. I manage a food setting as well so I know when I see a good worker and they are hard to come by!! Thank you sweetie, I will definetely be coming back !
An empty buffet. We paid for an empty buffet. As soon as they would bring out a pizza, the waiting crowd would snag it up. I'm not sure why because it was mediocre pizza at best. The salad portion of the buffet was brown and wilty looking. The vegetable soup was basically spaghetti sauce with some carrots thrown into it. It was a fundraiser night, and everyone was there to support our kids, but it was just frustrating to literally have no pizza. We also ordered a menu item. They never brought it out or called out that it was ready. We finally asked about it. The order was then cold as well as incorrect. We will not be back.
Buffet included salad bar and pizza bar. We asked to have a pumpkin pizza made which was hot and delicious. They were out of spinach which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
Pizzas we ordered by phone were ready on time and hot and delicious! Old style pizza parlor is the best tasting pizza!!
Empty pizza bar, salad bar was empty, old food all over both pizza bar and salad bar. Staff seems in no hurry to fill anything, how has the health dept not came in and shut them down is beyond me since sitting here all you see is violations.
Village Inn on Taylorsville Hwy is the absolute worst I have ever visited. The 5 kids there have no work ethic and do nothing to care about their employment. I don’t expect a lot from a buffet besides keep fresh food out and keep the establishment clean. They failed to do so horribly. Stop standing around on your phones and work for whatever you are getting paid. Hopefully not $15 an hr like everyone thinks they should make with this $7.25 attitude. Do not visit this establishment unless you want a trashy restaurant and terrible food. Instead visit the other Village Inn off I77 exit 49b. Hopefully not the same owner. The owner of the Taylorsville highway either needs to clean house or get out her/himself. 0 stars out of 5!
Salad bar, n pizza is always a better choice than deep fried food. Better choice is just the salad bar and you can get it to go ever and one set price not by the pound.
I would love to give a big huge shout out to the staff of village inn thank you thank you from the buttons bottoms of our hearts for coming to our aid yesterday when our Camaro caught fire. Special the guy with the huge hoodie your hoodie is what put it out. We made it home with little damage and was able to fix it. I wish we could do something for you guya
Will not be back at all!! Have been going to this pizza parlor since it opened. I am 48 so that should tell you something about the decline in the service and the food. We waited over an hour for pizza and never saw the pizza that we requested. We watched and got to listen to the employees talk and fuss at each other there was no manager on duty that night. They brought 2 pizzas out for 8 guests not including us, did not remove the old cold pizza that had been sitting there for hours. So needless to say we paid over 30.00 for salad and my nephews cheese bread. We watched as to go orders were wrong and people had to come back. One gentleman had to come in and check on his order 4 times and each time he was told it is almost ready he finally said forget it and went to Subway. When I did call the next day and speak to the manager she said she had already gotten calls about the night before and offered us our meal free. Ok no problem I call today going to give them another try she tells me I told you very hateful you had a week to get it. No she did not. I have called corporate 8 times and no one wants to answer the phone there. If Mr. Lackey was still running this business it would not be this way. Will never be back ever. Lost a lifelong customer!!
