Food was good for an all you can eat buffet. Thin crust style made with good ingredients. Service was pretty good as well as they worked hard to refilll stations with fresh food. It was a bit pricey for just pizza and salad bit overall a good experience
I only do take out now but customer service here has been excellent. It's obvious the staff care for people who come here. Also, their pizza and ingredients are fresh and delicious. Village Inn has become my go-to location for pizza when I'm in Statesville because they have the cauliflower crust.
Was greeted immediately by a very friendly cashier. Buffet has nice salad bar and good variety of fresh thin crust pizzas. Both pretty tasty. Can't go where if looking for a quick, fulfilling lunch.
We have been to Village inn Pizza in Statesville two times this month for lunch and both times pizza was cold/old & they don't change it ...! We had to wait like 20 min for hot/fresh pizza. Also my little one eats cold pepperoni from the salad bar & they don't have pepperoni on the salad bar anymore.I HOPE they add pepperoni to the salad bar again. And PLEASE change the ugly cold pizza, we really not paying to eat LEFT OVERSI am giving one stars because both times my kids didn't get to eat, They never made pepperoni Pizzas as we requested... and if they did, they never let us know.
When it's hot, VIP is the best pizza anywhere around ... but today the buffet wasn't hitting on much. The salad bar was top-shelf like always, but it was difficult to find much hot pizza at the buffet. It seemed like they were making pizza fast enough to keep up with the crowd, but it was getting cold really fast. Some of the soda taps had run out of the flavor part too, but maybe I was doing everything wrong. I guess I shoulda done like the guy in the next booth and had 7 or 8 beers, and 40 or 50 slices of pizza regardless of temperature ? ... spectacular. I'm just going to go back to ordering carry-out until they decide to turn on the heat inside the buffet table ... and get it together with the drink fountains.
The nice looking exterior is deceiving! Just nasty.....cracker crust pizza only 3 to select from....salad tasted old...place was dirty...watched someone sweep over the table top with a broom sweep out the seats then the floor ? will never be back and will never recommend this hole in a wall.
imagine having multiple registers at a buffet, but making 20 people wait for someone to stand at the register waiting for their to go order.. welcome to Village Inn.. Imagine showing up 3 hours before closing.. so they only put out 1 or two pizzas in 45 minutes... starve feeding.. welcome to village inn... clearly no training.. and lazy register and pizza turn around times.. im fed up. Life long customer since the old days over looking the creek.. its sad.. you shouldnt have to wait 15 minutes between plates for WARM food.
Pizza, salad, and drink. Unlimited buffet.$13 dollars. I didn't leave hungry. They will make whatever pizza you want them to. Friendly atmosphere and nice waitress. Enjoyed it.
This at one time was one of my favorite places to visit. Recently they have lost a very good manager and things have slipped a lot. The pizza is dry with not enough flavor in the sauce. The staff allows items such as bread sticks to run out along with other items on buffet. I was very disappointed and will not return.
We went around 6 on a Tues. They had very little pizza out & what was there was cold. There was very little pizza put out during our whole visit. The bread for spaghetti was cold & hard, but fixed when I asked for fresh. When we pay for the bar we expect to get hot pizzas.
