The carne asada tacos are perfect. The meat is juicy and seasoned perfectly. The tortillas are delicious.
Make it how you want it borritto !!! Damn right can’t go wrong with that!!! And this restraint is kept clean, organized and all the above I gave it a five star rating come check this place out anytime!!!
Only Mexican restaurant I’ve been to that didn’t have margaritas. My burrito was flavorless with mostly rice in it. The fajitas I ordered to go did not have tortillas, and the nachos were so soggy, it was like they were old and microwaved. Plus I asked for no onions and no beans and it was smothered in beans. When I said something to the guy his response was yes it comes with beans. I was well aware it came with beans. That’s why I asked for no beans lol. I was really hoping this would at least be a good restaurant, great would have been amazing since it’s right down the street. Unfortunately, it was so bad I don’t even want to try again. It should have been a red flag when we were the only people in the restaurant
Excellent Mexican food. A diamond in the rough in my hometown of Statesville, NC. Reasonable prices and authentic as you can get this far from Mexico! Highly recommended

Missed our usual stop off 40 so we pulled in here.Food was really good and a good portion of it. The staff were nice. I think our old stop along 40 has been usurped.
Was in a hurry so we stopped here and it was great. Food was delicious and we didn't make our orders easy but they came out perfect. Service was great. We will be back.
I lived in Southern California for years and still haven’t had better chicken taquitos or steak fajitas than the ones Vaqueros makes. Do yourself a favor and order one of those two things, you won’t be disappointed
They very very prompt and helpful with my order. Limited in English but he used a phone app to make the transaction seamless
Wow! Best Mexican I’ve had in a long time. Great vegetarian options. Good size portions and very inexpensive.
