Atmosphere is good. Service is slow. Staff does not check on you often. Meatloaf was bland, potato and salad were good. Over priced!

We highly recommend Andrea and her entire staff at the Twisted Oak for any event! We had our daughter’s wedding reception in their venue room. Andrea was extremely helpful throughout the whole planning process and very accommodating for all our requests. The food was excellent and the staff was so friendly and helpful! Our guests were all commenting about how great the food was and how beautiful the venue was. Thanks Andrea and staff for helping make our daughter’s special day everything she wanted it to be!!

First time here...Food was excellent, service was excellent.Well prepared and served with many options.Didn't ask about military discount this time ( sorry!) But definitely will go again.

We had a late lunch. Sandwiches and burgers. A little pricy but very tasty. Nice décor. Would defiantly visit again.

Great food great service took my grandmother here for her 80th birthday she loved it

We were looking to try somewhere new and decided on Twisted Oak. I am so glad that we did!!! When I say EVERYTHING was GREAT, that is exactly what I mean. We will definitely be adding them to our rotation of places to eat out. Our server ERIK made us feel very comfortable and offered up great suggestions/recommendations. Everyone that worked there looked very happy and upbeat. Very large adult beverage drink selection from beer to cocktails to wine to spirits. We were to full for dessert but that didn't stop us from taking some to go. As soon as ERIK told us they had caramel apple pie cheesecake and key lime pie, we said "one of each please". Had them today and they were incredible. Thank you guys very much and we will see you soon!!!

This is absolutely delish. I am gluten free and the chef made especially for me Lobster Mac and Cheese with gluten free pasta. My husband had a peacan encrusted Sain with a bourbon sauce that was really good. For dessert we shared a creme brule and it was amazing Our waitress was really special. She took time to check on us and recommended the dessert. Her name is Crystal and I adore her

Shrimp Scampi, soda and great times! Service was all good for our party of 31 people. Food came out in a very reasonable time. Hot and ready to eat. Everybody at our table thought it was all good. A bit pricey for what my wife and I usually do but not outrageous for great service, great food and drinks. AND considering that EVERYTHING cost so much more to put on the table these days a few extra bucks is now just fine. We will be back soon...

Quality food and a good selection of drinks. I ordered the Cajun pasta and it was delicious. The sauce was creamy and the chicken is well seasoned. The deviled eggs are also very interesting because they are breaded and deep fried. A great place for a nice dinner with friends or coworkers.

The four dishes we ordered were a bit pricey but I think Twisted Oak is probably the high end of the restaurant scene in Statesville. I had the Fried Green Tomatoes and the pimento cheese sauce and bed of greens were great, but the breading on the tomatoes was a little too light and not crisp enough, especially after soaking in the pimento cheese. My entree was the shrimp and grits, which had too much sauce on it and not enough shrimp which were so drowned in the sauce that they had not individual flavor of their own. But the sautéed grit cakes served with them were surprising in flavor - I'll have to try to make these at home! My husband had the Nashville Hot Chicken Dip which he loved and the Cubano sandwich. The sandwich was so tall with it's pork chop, tomato, fried pickles, lettuce, cheese and bacon he could not pick it up and had to dismantle it to eat it. We both had more than enough to eat but perhaps the restaurant could include a few dishes that had fewer ingredients that disguise the main food.
