I stopped at Riley’s Delights on my way home from work today for a little treat to lift my spirits! I definitely made the right decision! They had HOMEMADE cobblers!!! I chose blackberry, warmed up with vanilla ice cream! You could tell that the berries were fresh and the crust was PERFECT! I also bought two jars of HOMEMADE JesseJames pickles!!? There were so many different kinds to chose from, but I settled on Bread and Butter and Sweet Heat!! (Another right decision!?) Bread and Butter has always been my favorite BUT now I’m sure it’s my second favorite because that Sweet Heat is BANGING!!! They nailed the sweet/heat ratio! I hope they have acres of cucumbers growing somewhere so I never have to run out of these!
Stopped here on our way back from Winston Salem! Cute, super clean ice cream shop! Got to talk with the owner a bit and get some of the family history! Pretty cool! They have awesome ice cream flavors to choose from! Go check them out!
