bad service and bad food reference GM070222E
BE WEARY! MY HUSBAND GOT SICK WITHIN 22 MINITES OF US LEAVING! We went into the restaurant pefectly fine.My family and I came and visited this restaurant this evening. We wondered why the restaurant was not busy like Texas Road House beside them. Upon entry, we could smell and see why. The place smelled overly strong of old fish and the restaurant was all but empty save for 2 other families we could see. We intertained the thought of just leaving and going elsewhere. Our waitress was less than happy to be working it seemed- though she was begrudgingly nice to us. For as little people as there were in the restaurant, our service was outstandingly slow. I am hoping the waitress was just tired as we do not know her circumstances. As for food: My husband ordered the Surf & Turf with filet mingon(which was NOT filet mingon as this steak which was badly undercooked and under-seasoned had tendons through it)/lobster tail(that was runbery and over cooked)/bacon wrapped scallops(which had both under cooled scallops and bacon), broccoli and a baked potato. He ordered his steak medium-rare and he recieved pure raw meat in more than half his steak. My son ordered the choose 2 and got bacon wrapped scallops(bacon and scallops way under cooked) and Walt's favorite shrimp (which were good) with a side of coleslaw(that looked old and he said tasted worse than it looked) and broccolli. My daughter ordered popcorn shrimp and french fries and a house salad- no complaint there.I ordered the choose three and ordered broiled flounder(that looked grossly microwaved), broiled scallops(that came out fried) and fried clam strips(which were rubbery and tough at best) with loaded baked potato and house salad. We paid $140.89 for all 4 of us. WAY over priced! The little hostess from Massachusetts and the manager were pleasant though...
I can 100% understand why red lobster is no longer affiliated with any steakhouses. My wife ordered the filet, from a place boasting about surf and turf specials, that was improperly cooked. They did not know how to butterfly a steak. They cooked the same steak 3 times. They claimed their "Culinarilay trained" manager was going to fix it. I have included a photo of the finished steak.Couple this with "lobsterfest" with their $40 entrees, 10+ minute wait times just to get asked what kind of drink we wanted, and servers who would rather talk about their patrons to other servers while standing at a table; and you can see why there were only 4 other tables in the restaurant on a Sunday evening.
It's been a long time since I've been to any Red Lobster. I'm glad we decided to go Saturday night. The portions compared to prices is above average, meaning you get a lot of food for the price you pay. My wife ordered the shrimp alfredo and I counted at least 17 large shrimp in her bowl which is great! The garlic cheese biscuits are always the star of the meal and our waitress was on top of everything. The only thing I didn't care for was the taste of the lobster bisque, but that is my preference. We will be back soon!
We went on a Thursday night and it was perfect. Not many costumers and we were seated right away. Our waitress was great and very helpful in answering any questions we had.
I went there today because of the TMobile offer going on and got 6 appetizers. A guy named Larry attended to us and was very helpful and he was able to apply the offer. We got 2 pizzas 1 artichoke dip 1 crab Rangoon shrimp and 2 Coconut Shrimp. Food was very delicious . Very good service and staffPlace was busy
This is the 2nd time I've eaten at a red lobster since I started this whole Google local guide stuff. We went around three o'clock on a Sunday afternoon to find a 20 minute wait. So we waited, they have a nice little waiting area. It took about 15 minutes to be seated so that was good. The ole lady had a pound of the Alaskan crab legs with a house salad and baked potato. I had the fish and chips which i love it,just reminds me of home. The biscuits are good too. The service was excellent and I would highly recommend
I like the garlic bread that way, it's good! Good place for lunch and dinner. Seafood is one of my favorite dishes!
Very good meal.I think waitress name was Kaylee. She was great and very helpful on paying at the table.
I took my son, daughter in law, and their baby to a late lunch/early dinner. Our food was great! Our sever was really slow and inattentive. I ordered a frozen cocktail and had to ask for a straw. I ended up using my fork on my drink because she took 30 minutes to bring me a straw. They were not busy. I did leave a 20% tip however because it's the holidays and waitstaff depend on their tips to get by.
