Food was good and fresh but the location is a bit of a hassle. You can get in but getting out, especially heading back on the highway, is a nightmare even more around lunch time. Also you can order online or at a kiosk but there's no one at the counter to take your order, or at least when my father and I went there.
I really don't like to leave negative reviews but I won't be visiting this Panera location again. We used the drive-thru for bagels and coffee yesterday. They were out of every bagel except Asiago, and the coffee tasted like lukewarm water. This location started off well when it opened in Statesville, but in recent months when I have visited, there have been a few issues:- Bagels often unavailable (unless you go very early in the morning)- The coffee at this location always tastes stale/very weak, and there is regularly no milk available- There is often a sign at the front kiosk to use the drive-thru due to staffing issues (not ideal if you have already walked into the store and have questions on product availability)- There was one occasion when, despite the notice at the front about staffing issues, when I picked up my order from the pickup area, there were 2/3 members of staff in the kitchen standing around on their phones. If you're in Statesville, just avoid this place at all costs and go to one of the independent coffee shops or bakeries. This particular location does a disservice to the Panera brand.
Ordered a bacon turkey bravo sandwich in the drive thru line. Came home and the sandwich was missing turkey.
My salad is as big as my hand with three little dinky pieces of chicken, the bread wasn't even wrapped in anything, the little bag of Chip was snack size that came with my husband's sandwich. My first bad review.
Not coming back. Love panera bread but this place is terrible. Does management read these reviews or are they still making a profit and just do not care. Rapid pickup order was twenty minutes later than stated pickup time. Kitchen help was rude and dismissive. Only one helpful was a young lady working out front. She found my order on kitchen counter . Next time I will go to McDonald's. At least the service is better and the food is not cold and overpriced.
I went here for lunch today. I got the pick 2 with the Greek salad and the chipotle chicken avocado melt. For starters I did curb side pick up and arrived 5 minutes after I got the email that it was ready. I sat outside after checking in for nearly 20 minutes. The young girl who brought my food out to me basically slung it at me and walked off.I get home and there is no avocado on my sandwich, no dressing for my salad and bread so hard that I couldn’t bite into it. Basically only bread for my sandwich, the chicken/tomato filling was in one small area of the corner. Do better next time
Be warned: they are short staffed so you’ll probably have to order from the kiosk.Other than that, I love this place and the staff are great.I’m gonna say it: the reason this place has so many negative reviews is because this place attracts Karens like moths to light.Of course, that’s all my opinion.
This location needs some serious help. Constantly out of so many things. Several times serving everything as to go because they don’t have a dishwasher. I’m sure every employee knows how to was dishes and the manager should be helping out. There is never anyone at the front to take orders or answer questions. This location is not as busy as the other locations and always seems to have issues.
This location seemed short handed at the time of my visit. My order was ready about 10 minutes later than what was originally stated in the app. In total I had to wait almost 30 minutes. The 2 cookies I got with my order were sadly underbaked. These 2 reasons are why I give this location only 4 stars.
For the price you pay, you should get more than a 1/4 piece of burnt bacon, and more than a half slice of cheese. On top of that, they got our sandwich wrong twice. Instead of socializing in the kitchen, they need to focus more on getting the order correct.
