Food was just OK, but Service was good. The BBQ didn't really have a smoked flavor, more of a plain taste. The hushpuppies were excellent, no grease taste like some restaurants, but the BBQ sauce wasn't real flavorful either. We drove 45 minutes to try it, but probably wouldn't do it again.
Food good, server failed to give me my beverage at drive thru window. Handed out bag of food in a hurry and quickly closed the window. Had to blow horn to get window open and to get the beverage I ordered. The only other problem is inflation like every where else, being on a fixed income makes it difficult to patronize any of the food suppliers. Thank you
Have frequented here quite a lot in the past few years, but in the last few months quality has taken a nosedive. I’m not sure if ownership changed or what, but the food that my mouth would water for is just… eh, mediocre, now. Great portion sizes for the plate and price, but I think I’ll have to wait a few months before coming back again.
Food not very good no flavor in th bbq, slaw was JUST PLAIN no mayo nothing. Plus very expensive 25 dollars for two bbq trays!
I have Eaten at ol bob’s for as long as they opened and I have never been so disappointment in my order on May 28 2022 my order was total unbeatable and also I didn’t even get the drink I ordered and I spent all most $50 and couldn’t even eat it so so disappointed
My husband and I ate supper there last night. We got 2 sandwiches, 2 sm fries, 6 hushpuppies and 1 lrg drink and 1 med drink (was charged for a lrg). Total was a few pennies short of $30. We could have had an in restaurant meal somewhere else for less than $30. My sandwich was so soggy I had to request a fresh bun and my husbands was so soggy I don't see how he ate it. The fries were limp and saturated with grease. The best thing about the meal was the hushpuppies. It was close to closing so I could not say anything to anyone last night. Tried to call today but couldn't get anyone. I know everyone has an off night but this was ridiculous. We try to support local businesses as much as possible but we will not be eating at Ol Bob's BBQ again. Food quality was definitely NOT worth what we paid.
We had a take out order and was immediately greeted when I walked in, the dining area was spotless. Employees are very friendly and professional, the food was amazing with large portions. Definitely will be coming back soon and will recommend it to anyone.
Called in an order about 2 weeks ago. Told me 20 minutes over the phone get there and the place is full not a single open seat. Rude customers and people getting mad at staff, however not once did the staff become anything less than professional. One cook for 30 plus orders no one ever lost their temper in extremely stressful situations absolutely amazing!

The food is freshly prepare. The workers are kind. The restaurant looks clean enough. It's not fancy but the food tastes delicious. I had the pork plate and hubby had chicken wings and french fries. He ate all of his before I could snap a pic but here's mine. ?
