Gross!! I trashed the food that I had bought....for my safety. I ordered a Chicken milanesa, it was so stiff that it could stand on its own, the meat didnt taste like chicken, I guess they fried everything in the same oil everyday , the taste of the chicken was not there , , greasy, stiff and just gross.I ordered too mojarra frita: double gross, not seasoned , wrapped in aluminum foil ( not a plate) didnt feel safe eating it, I trashed it too.They " definition" of mexican food is cover mediocre food in cheese dip, side it with microwave heated rice and beans along with chips, a disgrace for mexican cuisine.
Stopped in for a late lunch with a party of five. We all were starved and we were pleases to be seated very quickly and brought chips immediately. Bowls of your choice of hot or mild salsa were given - each person got his/her own bowl. The chip basket, salsa bowls and drinks were refilled frequently without us having to ask.The food was brought to us surprisingly quickly. I got the spinach and mushroom quesadillas and they were HUGE. I normally don't take food home with me because I eat it all but these were so big I had to take 1/2 of one home with me. the flavor was excellent. I will return next time I am in Statesvegas!!

Always fresh and delicious food here. Plus the staff are amazing. One of the best places to eat in Statesville. Great for families or small groups. We love to come here for birthdays!

Stopped on our overnight driving south. This was near the Fairfield Inn. Very busy as it was a Friday night, so we opted to sit and eat at the bar. Luis, the bartender was great. Excellent margaritas that were served up fast. Chips and salsa also provided immediately. Huge menu so we decided to pick off the Mi Pueblo specials. I had taco loco which was just as described. H has pork salsa verde which he loved. This is a chain but so much better than the other chains on the same road.
The Chicken Chorizo tacos are the best!
Food was super delicious, great service and nice generous portion sizes.
