The food here is fresh, authentic, and full of flavor!! I usually just get Tacos but today I decided to grab a couple of their fresh pork tamales, best choice I’ve made in a while! This place is my favorite little food spot in Statesville, by far.
Stopped here on our way back from hiking and it did not disappoint! Do not let the outside/neighborhood deter you, the food is delicious. This was the most authentic Mexican food we have had since we traveled around MX. I had the steak tacos with cilantro and onions, perfect. The tamales were on point! The gentleman running the place was friendly. We will make this a stop after our hiking in the future.
Rustic feeling. They have comfortable dining, but the obvious fact is that they care about the quality of their meals and customers. Friendly staff and owner. Terrific prices. I recommend the Super Torta
