I'm very picky when it comes to wings being a former wing cook myself. This place is a GREAT wing place! I loved all the options and flavors. The wings were cooked perfectly and the sauces I tried were so delicious. Will definitely return.
My daughter and mother-in-law went in today (27 May 2022) and attempted to order 50 wings, extra crispy, with various sauces to go. The order came up and was immediately returned to the kitchen by the staff as it was 50 wings, all in kamikaze sauce and a reorder was prepared. This was not communicated to my family and they ended up waiting for approximately an hour for the order to come up. After receiving the order, my family immediately left the restaurant believing the order was now correct after the time waited. After paying $77 for the order and upon arriving home (we live approximately 40 minutes away) we realized the order was 40 wings (not 50 as ordered), barely cooked (definitely not crispy), and missing one of only two sauces ordered. Prior to leaving, my family had to ask for their sides of celery, carrots and dressings that are suppose to come with the wings. This was a real let-down as their service is usually pretty good, even when it's busy. Seriously rethinking my dining choices for take out and possibly even eating-in. Sorry East Coast, you failed me this time.
When we walked in we were greeted promptly by Donte and seated. Waited ten minutes or more for a waitress. If it wasn’t for Donte we would have never got waited on. He checked on us multiple times even tho he finally got a waitress to our table. The whole time we were there he was busy cleaning, sitting people at tables and checking in to go orders. Wasn’t his place to keep checking on us but he did. While it took a long time to get waited on, food was good. The wait staff definitely needs help, slow and they don’t check on you like they should. They seem to be more interested with their friends at the bar. With that being said the only thing really going for this place is that you have at least one good worker and that’s Donte. Shout out to him for being exceptional. You need more workers like him. So definitely praise him for a job well done.
My husband and I use to visit East Coast pretty regularly but they’ve become so inconsistent. They use to have great nachos but changed the recipe multiple times. Now their nachos are mediocre at best. I would usually get the boneless wings because they had great tasting chicken. But again, they change their recipe and switched to flat, over processed tasting chicken. If you order the kids fruit cup you won’t get a fresh fruit cup.. you will get a Dole cocktail cup..There service has always been slow. It’s sad they’ve gone down hill.
Waited forever to sit. Only 4 tables were sat. Waited so long for my beer my kid drank her entire tea. No sauce on my wings. Had to ask for celery and carrots twice. Had to ask for paper towels. Took 40 minutes for 10 wings and 5 boneless. The only thing that was good, my beer and the chips were made the way I ordered. Asked multiple times for a box..finally had to go get one at the kitchen. They used to have great service?
Food is pretty good. When we first walked in and looked over the menu I was expecting much better though, honestly. Service could use some improvement. All the staff seemed to be running around like they were a bit lost. They were trying, but just not executing it all that well. We sat with empty glasses most of the meal. Dirty dishes sat on the table even after our dessert arrived. Also, my opinion... Go for hotter sauce than you think you can handle. I sure wish I went with hotter at least.
This order was completely insane! They stacked 2 25 wings plates on the plate that had the wrap. The wrap looked more like a salad. The sauce was poured in the bag and not the actual wings. We had to use left over sauce from the first plate!
I am beyond angry with my dining experience at East Coast Wings in Kernersville NC. Going on day 3 with shooting abdominal pain and horrible stomach after eating their wings. It looks like I got food poisoning from eating there. I have never felt pain in my stomach like this in my life! It is horrible! Gave them $50 to food poison me? Where are the health department inspectors because they must be skipping this place! I will never eat wings at this establishment again. Especially after googling "east coast wings food poisoning." Never again! Dine at your own risk!
My favorite wing place. The only problem I have with it is there often out of the chipotle chicken dip. The only other wing place close is buffalo wild wings. Do not like buffalo wild wings. My wife does. It's also very loud in there.
Not sure what's going on with East Coast Wings Statesville NC. It's disappointing going back after six months and the service is not getting any better. The wings just taste like it was fried as is NO FLAVOR, half of the menu is ever available, small feedings NOT worth the money. Hire people the can cook and portion meals.
