When I went there with friends I had heard great things about Cook Out, but when I actually got there I was greeted with an array of flies and a weird smell. I ordered an out-west burger, and cheese fries, the burger was fine and tasted good, but when I opened the cheese fries I just saw normal fries with a small amount of cheese on the left, and that was all the cheese they gave me. I would recommend if going there, don't, your better off with Wendy's or McDonald's.
We bought two orders to go this evening. Two double hamburgers, onion rings, coleslaw and 2 teas. The tea was the best thing we got. Two half hamburgers you could see through, one sliver of tomato and onion. The coleslaw was dry. Two little onion rings and everything was cold. This isn’t the first time this has happened.What is the problem? This is pathetic.
After waiting (after receiving ordering) for over 15 minutes decided to cancel my milkshakes and get ice tea instead. I did get them other items in ordered in a timely manner.Problem I had was watching the cashier tell me that they were making mine next (several times) only to have them call someone else's order. After that watching the person make a milkshake for himself and taking a stroll to the back of restaurant eating a milkshake on break i guess. Manager was apologetic and returned money for upcharge for shakes.
Food is soggy and gross. I asked for no slaw because I am allergic. I drive 25 mins home just to get home (should’ve checked it but my kiddos and a long day, I was over it) and there’s slaw on a soggy bun. Loads of Seasoning dumped on fries. I tried to call and get a refund but phone number disconnected.
Good customer service BUT the whole restaurant was very dirty including the bathrooms. No changing tables in either bathroom. No soap to wash my hands. No toilet paper in either stall in the womens restroom. No sanitizer in any of the 80 sanitizer stations they had. Food was very disappointing. I got a blt and it had literally one piece of bacon, a little piece of lettuce and a soggy piece tomato.
I'm confused. All these great reviews. The double burger was two oval shaped patties that were half the size of the bun. It tasted good but threw half of the bun away. There's no reason for me to go here again.
Cookout is my favorite fast-food restaurant. Really cheap to feed a family and it tastes nothing like fast food. The burgers always remind me of a good backyard grill burger. The shakes are some of the best and they have a big variety of flavors. Another good item on the menu is the quesadillas. Better than Taco Bell. Service is quick, even with long drive thru lines. The employees are polite and friendly.
They make good burgers. I realized I had eaten there a couple times in GA but I ordered a barbecue plate. Compare to Sonnys which is awesome. There on my plate was a greasy pile of salty dog food more like corned beef hash than bbq. Stick with a burger and fries. The little fried hush puppies and coleslaw was good. Very little Mayo and still good.
The only reason why it is four star because the wait. Sometimes it looks pack and car are wrap around the parking lot do to driving thru. But their food is great and it is just the right amount of pay for a lot of food. They have a lot of opinions, I usually get the wrap bc they are small while you are in the car but if I am sitting down, I'll get a burger with fries. The Jr tray for the kids are great too. Makes them full and they don't complain either because it either has chicken tenders or corn dogs and fries. Something that the kids can actually eat.
Always a great place to eat. Good variety of food to choose from for a great price. Burgers, hot dogs, bar-b-que sandwich, chicken sandwich, quesadilla, corndogs and more. Cheese bits and frys are my favorite sides with plenty more to choose from and the best milkshakes in town.
