Old Fashioned delight: What a sweet little Ice cream and Sweets Shop. Owner was so gracious. Best homemade donuts, Bagels and the ice cream soo delish.Was at the Sweet Shoppe today 23rd July,2022...homemade lemon sorbet....soo refreshing.
Great service and friendly staff. Even welcomed my granddaughter's puppy as long as he was on leash. So many flavors of ice cream to choose from and a good variety of pastries. They do special occasion cakes too! Great addition to our downtown shops!!!
Several ice cream flavors to choose from, three types of cones or cup sizes. Make shakes or ice cream floats.Have donuts and bagels all looked good.This was our first visit. There is seating but it's a small place.Staff was friendly and helpful.There were four of us and everyone like their choices.

Great service and great ice cream. Then we stumbled on their bagels. We had an everything bagel that was delicious and tasted like the ones that we got in the NY/NJ area. Yum!
Accidentally came in after an extremely rowdy group of students, still got incredible service and good ice cream. The employee handled it like a champ and did an amazing job!

Previously as we were walking about town, we stopped in and purchased a bakery treat. At that time I asked about the bagels. I was told they make bagels on Friday and Saturday. So... last week I went by on my daily walk... on a Friday. It was midday and fortunately they had some left from earlier, but I also was able to get some fresh baked bagels. Well to loop back, my first bagel was in Greenwich Village NYC and I have had a challenging time finding a good bagel anywhere but there. Fortunately I found a national chain that makes a proper bagel (boiled), but they were in Greensboro or Mooresville and California. Ok so this is the long way around to say this place makes good rather great bagels that have a nice dough on the inside and a decent chew on the outside. I highly suggest you heat them up in an oven at home and not toast them to retain the chew. This is the first local bakery in the U.S.A. that I have found a great bagel. Awesome: thanks!!!!
