First time visiting. Don't be fooled by the small crowd. The food was hot, fast service and friendly people. And very reasonable prices. I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful meal at Vero's Pizza. We each ordered two slices, and they were huge.James B. was very friendly and pleasant. It was a pleasure to meet him, and he was very helpful.This was our first time, and we will return when we are in the area and want pizza.I only have one suggestion for the owner.We arrived at 11:15 am. We thought they were permanently closed because of all the notes on the door and windows. My suggestion is to remove the old information we saw signs about April. You have two signs about your hours. The entrance takes away from what you are trying to create.
We were traveling through the state of N.C. and stopped to get a bite to eat. Tired and hungry we were pleasantly surprised how great the food and service was. The greek salad was the real deal. Fresh and crispy. The fried ravioli were hot and the dipping red sauce was rich in flavor. The steak and cheese was made with fresh homemade bread and super good. The place was very clean, the service was great and the BEER was ice cold. Thanks for a great experience.
We got the lasagna lunch special and it was huge for a great price. Desert of a chocolate chip cannoli was a delicious way to finish. They were fast and very friendly.
We read the reviews and the other assessments were accurate - calzone and cheesesteak were really good! The garlic knots were good, not great, and the pizza and wings were not very good at all. If you're going to order from Vero's, I'd stick with the calzone or the cheesesteak.
Awesome good and great customer service
We eat here every week. The Jimmy V pizza is the bomb! You should try it. Some people on here complain about the crust being thin and floppy, but I love crust like that, lets you fold the slice in half and eat it like a sandwich. How NY style pizza is eaten! If you want a thick, sturdy, crust, order the Sicilian style crust. You won’t be disappointed. The Caesar salad is great, the Greek salad is awesome! The garlic knots are light and fluffy and are just awesome. The gold sauce on the wings is a must have. The service has always been polite and on point. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. We have been eating here for the better part of a year and haven’t eaten anything bad yet. One of my favorite dishes I order is the lasagna with extra meatballs on the side.
The food was delicious and portions were big! The garlic knots were light and airy, so good! We had the meatball sub, sausage pepper and onion sub, spaghetti and cheese pizza. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Definitely will try to stop in next time we are in the area.

Staff was amazing! We order 2 different pasta and a slice of Sicilian pizza. We didn’t get to eat the pizza YET so I will not speak on that matter.As for the pasta the Alfredo tortellini sauce was liquid still good though. I DO NOT recommend adding shrimp because it’s a dollar per shrimp. The penne ala vodka was good maybe it’s me being picky cause I love pasta but I think it was bland and could have done with some tomato chunks and spinach. It was just noodles and sauce.PS the pizza we got did look good so fingers are crossed.
