Wonderful everything! The atmosphere was casual and down to earth! I would definitely go here again! I ordered the French toast ham and turkey gruyere sandwich while my other member ordered bubble waffles with chicken tenders. Very nice! Felt relaxing and seemed like the perfect way to start or end your day.I will highly recommend!!! ☕️?
Stopped in on a lazy Saturday around 9:30, we were greeted by a very friendly staff and the smell of a country farmhouse kitchen. I had the Monte Cristo and a cappuccino, both excellent. My companion had the English muffin and Boba Tea and found it equally enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

I have been stopping by a couple times a week for a coffee for the past few months and this place is great. It's a quaint little spot in downtown Smithfield. Definitely check it out if you haven't already!
I had their Sausage and Cheese Flatbread for breakfast. It was so delicious! Then later, I came back for their Banh Min Sandwich. It is based on Vietnamese pork with pickled veggies and jalapeños. I had their Baked Potato Salad which is a cold "potato salad" with bacon and sour cream. All of which were amazing! There also a variety of local treats and merchandise available to purchase. I especially loved the Vaugh Bons raspberry chocolate ganashe truffles.
Gorgeous space, loooove the way they decorated, and the music was good too (sort of Indy/Americana stuff when we went). We had crepes and the chicken and waffles - can't remember now which ones specifically but they were recommended by the staff and were so delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Made the drive from Raleigh well with it! They have milk alternatives available for their coffee drinks, and at least one of their pastries available were gluten free, which, was nice to have the variety available. 10/10 would recommend.
The staff is very helpful and friendly. I will drive to Smithfield again just to enjoy the Gilded Pear.

The food alone is well worth the trip, but there's also fantastic customer service, their system went down and they were sure to keep everyone updated and happy. They were attentive and the place is super cute with a great vibe.
Delicious coffee, fun atmosphere and friendly staff. We will definitely be back when we travel through.
