Slow service doesn't even describe it. The car in front of us has been sitting at the window for at least 15 minutes waiting for the food. Any other place would tell them to move up until their food is ready. One person bringing food out to the car pick up area with 5 cars waiting and she is moving like a snail. I hope our shake order isn't melted by the time we get it. This isn't the first time either. My son and I waited in line FOREVER a few months ago. I can have patience and understand many places are short staffed, but come on now. This is beyond ridiculous.

Just came to this Sonic to get desserts. Tried to order a sundae, and before we could even get the words out, the person taking our order cut us off to say “our blast machine is down”. Apparently, that means you can’t get a sundae… she continued to speak in a rude monotone voice for the remaining of the interaction, with zero pleasantries. Too many other options where you can have a pleasant interactions with the people working. We will not be back here to pay for the rude service.

Everyone was very nice and apologized multiple times for "the delay" we never experienced, so I don't know what was going on. Fortunately, the food came out rather quickly, even though they apologized for its "delay." While it came out quickly, it was missing multiple items from our order. The guy waited while we checked the order and brought back everything, plus a couple extras. I appreciate the gesture, but I don't always check my order, so I pulled a star for the lack of quality control before it came out.

I’m from NJ & while heading home, I was near Selma, NC on May 11, 2022. I pulled up the SONIC app & ordered a foot long hotdog & 1/2 price slushie which came to $7.00 with tax & keep the change tip scheduling the pick up 4:25 pm. Low & behold, I blew by my exit & got snarled up trying to find my was back. Finally arriving at the SONIC about 5:30, I open up the app & find the order had disappeared!!! I googled Sonic refund & here are the posted fyi’s:Can I cancel my order? No. Once we send the order to the kitchen, the food has been made. You can no longer cancel the order or receive a refund.Unclaimed orders due to customer error (including orders sent to the wrong SONIC location) are nonrefundable.Apr 5, 20225/16/22The store owner or manager responded with instructions on how to rectify the issue.Glad to say the $7.00 refund has been posted to my credit card account.

I waited 5/10 minutes to order one person inside waiting on their door dash order no one else. 25 minutes AFTER paying I FINALLY GOT MY ICE WATER AND POWERADE. employees were too busy fighting amongst themselves screaming and yelling and cussing at each other. A MINIMUM of 3-4 employees walked out even told someone who asked for an application they most Definitely did not want to work there.

Love the ice. You can buy it by the bag. Slow on the service because they are always understaffed. Slushies are good also.

Went through the drive thru. Young gentleman who took my order was kind. Checked the bag to find I was missing a fry, I went in and was given the small fry. Decided I should go ahead and check all my food. The chicken slider I ordered must have been sitting in grease for a while and was extremely over cooked. I was so frustrated at this point I didn’t even bother going back in. Just threw it all away. Please don’t serve something you wouldn’t eat.

Verrrrrry slow. Order was right, though. So not bad!

Waited 20 mins for ice cream, and watched as employees came in and out talking and running back and forth to someone’s car Poor service isn’t even the word Waste of my time

UPDATE: General manager called me. Said it was a “catch 22 situation”. I’m not sure that an OSHA violation would be considered Catch 22, nor do I think the department of health would look at it that way, but I guess if she doesn’t care why should we? Said she was aware the kid was there and didn’t seem to see an issue because her crew is already short .. Yum, snotty tator tots served by a 5 year old.Not sure which one of the employees small child, couldn’t be older than 6, was standing at the window rubbing his runny nose while the employees smiled and laughed at him but that’s gross .. Especially watching them interact with him and acknowledge that he’s back there with them while they’re making our food and drinks .. He was practically hanging out the window while everything was hanging with us. Not very sanitary and not great to see.
