I have attempted over the course of the last 6 months to place a ToGo order and this restaurant IS NEVER OPEN WHEN THEY SAY THEY ARE! I went this past Saturday at 4:00 becausenthe hours state they open at 11am on Saturdays... they were closed. THIS is why MiCasita does good business. Their food is not as good but they are open when the advertise they are open!
Good service. Portion size was worth the price.
By getting waitress that know what they are doing instead of us having to ask for refills or for our bill or for a box. The waitress we had today, November 27, 2020 was horrible!!! Plus there was a roach crawling on the wall beside me. It was absolutely discussing. I will never eat there again and will let everyone I know not to go there except maybe the health department.
Our waiter was very attentive. However, the quality of food wasn’t great. My shrimp coctel was quite diluted, had no flavor. This issue I fixed upon adding four ketchup packets. My boyfriend didn’t enjoy his ACP+shrimp as the chicken lacked flavor. Lastly, our friend ordered cheese nachos (see pic attached). He received a plate with 7 chips covered by a thin layer of cheese ($5). We were all a bit shocked, informed the waiter of our dissatisfaction, who thus removed this item from the bill.
People are great, very friendly. Food not so much. Came out cold and had to send back. Brought out new and still not hot or good. Dont like to give bad reviews, but won't go back.
My pork burrito was delicious. My wife's chicken burrito...not good. The chicken had zero seasoning and was incredibly bland - the opposite of mine. Skip the chicken, get the pork.
Edgar was our server. We sat outside. Meal was served quickly and we never had an empty glass.
Very nice waiter. Food was good no complaints.
Would give it zero stars if possible. Staff doesn't even acknowledge your presence when you walk in. Would not recommend this place due to the rudeness of employees.
While passing through Smithfield NC with my family we stopped here for the outdoor seating area (because it’s 2020 and Covid). Seeing my favorite dish Camarones (shrimp) a la Diabla on the menu, I decided to give it a try. I have ordered this dish in dozens of restaurants over the years, and there is no question that Mucho Mexico does it best. The sauce is as delightfully and unapologetically spicy as it should be, yet the the flavors of each ingredient still easily come through. And when I asked the server to please send my compliments to the kitchen, he surprised me afterward with a little container of their diabla sauce to take home. That’s service! I only regret that I live more than an hour from Smithfield. I would eat here again and again.
