DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE! I decided to try this place while in the area running errands. The actual price is much higher than the online price but they don’t tell you that when you make the order. When I got the price of the food, I thought my son might’ve ordered (something extra to be added to the plate. WRONG! I immediately went back in and asked for a refund. Nadine (manager) wouldn’t accept the untouched food back said they don’t do refunds once the food has been cooked. She also acknowledged knowing that the online price has been wrong for YEARS!! The low country boil wasn’t hot or edible. I received a call from the owner, Rock/Rob (919) 414-4426, who also acknowledged knowing about the inaccurate pricing online. He was very unprofessional and condescending when speaking with me about my concerns. He would not provide me with the number for the corporate office and said they would be changing their name in the next few months. He then offered to refund me the money if I found a place with better pricing. I responded by telling him the Crab Seafood House in Clayton had lower pricing, larger quantities of food, and better customer service. He then began to repeat “it’s your life” and say that he could not lose money by refunding the inedible, overly/inaccurately priced food. Well, Losing customers means losing money. I wish I could’ve given this less than 1 star. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISGUSTING FOOD!
Food and service was awesome. Portions were great. Only complaint is the cleanliness needs to be upgraded and the bathrooms need attention.
Ordered gumbo and a shrimp cocktail. I got boiled shrimp.on ice and a bowl of hot sauce soup with all the shrimp, sausage, chicken and veggies on top. The bowl was so full I asked for a container so I could eat it without spilling it alll over the table. It had way to much cayenne pepper and no roux' it was hot sauce and water! My buddy ordered The seafood Supreme basket with Flounder. He got catfish, someone ( Cook? Owner) came to our table to debate the type of fish it was. Seriously? Isn't the CUSTOMER ALWAYS KING?Apparently not here!
Best seafood, friendly staff and great atmosphere. We really enjoy the big seafood platters with lots of variety, crab legs, crawfish, shrimp, mussels, corn and potatoes. The very best frog legs too. We love bringing friends in and they are always amazed at all the good food.
Amazing everytime I eat there. Boiled not steamed. People are super nice. Dungeness crab and Calamari
The food and environment are great!!! The seafood is actually boiled and not steamed. Calamari and Dungeoness crab
Coming from a seafood fanatic it was absolutely delicious. Great prices and the staff was polite.
This was recommended by front desk personnel at Best Western which is within walking distance. It is a casual mostly seafood restaurant that serves a variety of seafood types. I had a Dungness crab cluster w/ Old Bay seasoning, potatoe and corn on cob, all very good. My husband had Seafood Gumbo (VERY spicy), and a fried 3 item seafood basket w/ hush puppies and spicy fries. Beignets are NOT New Orlean style!
great food and service. family friendly atmosphere
Outstanding food and wait staff. Rather expensive but ambiance makes it worth it. Not enough parking space. I am disabled but no disabled parking within a reasonable walking distance.
