Hands down the VERY BEST Mexican Restaurant in NC!!! Staff treats you like family and we love them. The food is amazing and the staff are incredible….would recommend!!
This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in town. 99% of time we have a group of 12+ and they have never let us down. The food is always correct when we get it. Can’t say enough about the service and our waiters/waitresses always engage with us laughing and meeting our needs even with that many in the group. We’ve been going for many many years and they have never disappointed us!!
I love this place! The restaurant manager, Martha, works to create a friendly and home-like environment. The food is great and the service is amazing. This is a cornerstone of the community! Very festive.
Food with good taste. Food cooked in great time. Not salty, which is a good plus for me. Atmosphere good.
due to past experience with this place, i am rating it three stars. my aunt loves this place. she’s suggested eating here multiple times when i visit her, and we usually eat here at least once when i visit her. it was good this time around. i am actually impressed. usually when i eat here the food tastes as if it were microwaved. today, it was quite good and fresh.
San Marcos is way better. Manager was nasty to us BC we were not paying for our meal we didn't order or get to enjoy. Cops ended up getting called so never again will me and my husband ever go again!!! We offered to pay for what we ate but ended up having a bad experience. You all need to go to San Marcos. Service is way better!!! Never had a problem.
Excellent food in large portions. Margaritas by the pitcher. Very busy, try to get there early. Staff fairly friendly, busy but still efficient.

Love this place. The staff are always friendly. Food comes out correct, fast, and fresh. I love that my cup never gets more than half empty before it is being filled again. Whether it is date night or family night, La Cocina is a great place to go. There is only one thing I don't like...when they refill your cup, they take your cup away and bring you back the same cup. I would much rather them just bring me another cup or bring a pitcher and refill it that way. But I deal with it because the service and food are so good!! Everything at this restaurant tastes good. Foods that I would not eat anywhere else, I can eat here. Enough of this....go try it for yourself. You will be glad that you did.
