Came here on my birthday on a visit to Smithfield from another state, asking for takeout. Was told dismissively they don't do takeout on Fridays- with no exception. This was at 4:45 pm and place wasn't crowded. Went to Low and Slow Smokehouse instead, and their food was fabulous. Bad experience at Heidi's and wouldn't bother going back
We have been traveling South Carolina and North Carolina for the last 2 weeks. Picked this place to eat last minute. Boy was our choice spot on! Best restaurant food we’ve had in a long time. The service was excellent and the food was even better. We started with the “Pick Four” appetizer. Pub chips, fried green beans, fried pepper Jack Mac and cheese and Thai chili wings. They were all outstanding. If the meal was going to taste half as good as the appetizer bundle, we were going to be happy. Christi had the coconut shrimp and I had the low country boil. We were both impressed with the quality and flavor of our meals. Definitely recommend this place. I am sure the locals have it figured out, but if you’ve never been here or just passing thru, you have to give it a shot. Oh….and the back of the menu is required reading. Let us know it was a good decision right off.
Wife and I's favorite spot hands down. Food and service are always great! Dining room is a little small and we wish they were open on the weekends, but we love to bring friends and family! Awesome environment here and there's also plenty of patio to grab a drink and wait! Highly recommend!!
If you are looking for actually good bar food, this is it. My parents haven't found a good place in NC until now since we lived in NEPA. My family went here Friday night and the short wait for a table was more than worth it. We got 3 different menu items and LOVED them. My father got a Philly cheese steak and it was the first time he's been happy with one since leaving Philly. The only sad part is they have pretty limited hours, we would have (seriously) went the next 2 nights in a row (Saturday and sunday) With how good their food is I commend them for being committed to maintaining quality by not just opening up all the time for the money. But definitely sad I only got to try the place once. Im headed back up to PA Sunday night and ill be dreaming about that Buffalo chicken quesadilla the whole way. OH AND IF THE OWNER READS THIS. My parents want to know if you lived up north at all because this food seriously taste like the great bars up north that we were the regulars for!

I got the buffalo shrimp which was delicious! Friendly and tentive staff with inside and outside seating. Hard to find because they had the sign off. Would definitely come back here though.

This place has lots of food options for everyone and everything i have tried has been so good! This time tried the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries and it was great! Alot of food for the price! Friendly staff and lots of indoor and outdoor seating! Will be coming back again to try something else!
