Great service great sub just pricey

Quality of food was good. What we expect from firehouse. I gave them 4 stars because of the difficulty to get there from the interstate, and getting back onto it.
The food and service were both good as is usual for Firehouse.
Stopped with the husband who stated that these subs are the best. We ordered to go. Staff was not friendly but not impolite. After we were eating, my sandwich was not beef nor smoky and drowning in mayo. My hubby said his wasn't as ordered either. He did say that was the first time at that particular shop. I will try Firehouse again possibly but at a different shop location. I didn't finish mine because I don't eat pork with nitrates.
Food is always great! Staff could be more friendly. Everyone looks at you coming in, but no one speaks.
They now have gluten free buns.
Normally the subs are so great. Live been craving one for weeks and got one today. I was very dissatisfied. It was overflowing with mayo and dressing so much so that the bread was soggy and falling apart. Not satisfied at all. I do nt know when ill get again or if I will ever because of how it was made. And the pickle tasted very strange.
I love their hot subs! And then when you leave, satisfy your sweet tooth by going next door, Burney's, to pick up a stuffed cream glazed croissant or a cheesecake! Delicious meal with dessert, all in one drive.
Not up to par for firehouse, still good
