If I could put less than one star I would. I work in the outlets where this DQ is located, and on some occasions where the weather is not drive able, I come here for a last resort. Both times (which might I add has only been twice), I went into this store to find an older Caucasian woman with a pixie cut handling the food in an unsanitary manner. First, I ordered a small fry and she had a glove on one hand with the other bare and she opened the bag with the gloves hand and placed my small fry in the bag with her fully exposed hand on my food. I then continued to ask her to prepare a new fry seeing as the one she first serve was CLEARLY compromised. She stuttered like she was shocked that I wanted her to handle it properly and then prepared my food behind a wall. This incident happened during the peak of COVID also might I add. Now the most current, happened right now as I was planning to take a lunch due to the obvious spring showers. I walked a few stores down to buy (might I add again) LAST RESORT food. I am standing about five people back in line, and the SAME women was handling the fry station with lack of proper sanitary precautions. I watched her pull fries out of the oil, and then spread the fries on the tray with her bare hands YET AGAIN.Im not the type to be a Karen and report workers but with working with food it’s common sense. AND I also want to add I am currently rocking with a vending machine cookie and soda for lunch so I’m quite irked. I believe she is a manager so to get her the proper training would be nice
The employees are extremely rude. The manager was no better he yelled at my elderly grandmother because she threw away the receipt. He told my grandmother that she was delayed and needed to go back to school and actually learn something. One of the boys had AirPods in blasting music not paying attention to his surroundings or what the customers were saying to him. Several customers left due to the atmosphere and the attitudes of the workers. We waited a full 27 minutes for our order due to the fact that the employees were talking instead of making and taking orders. I will not be stepping foot back into the Dairy Queen in Smithfield North Carolina.
The worst worst worst DAIRY QUEEN I've been to. THE STAFF AND MANAGER ARE THE MOST RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL!! AS I WAS WAITING 30 MIN FOR MY ORDER, OTHER CUSTOMERA AFTER ME WERE RECEIVINNG THEIRS AND WHEN I COMPLAINED ABOUT IT, ONE OF THE STAFF (MALE) STARTED ARGUING WITH ME AND THEN HIS COWORKER WHICH IS HER GIRLFRIEND SLID the cup of blizzard so hard that it tipped over and it was so liquidy. I asked for my refund and they refused to give my money back and lied saying that the manager was not around, and as soon as I mentioned about calling the cops another staff decided to run behind the wall and get the manager, and when I told the manager what happened the staffs were calling me a liar and I told the manager to watch the cameras and he said he had no other option bit to keep his employees. What kind of business is this? That place does not deserve our money!!!!!!!!!!
We came in here expecting for the service to be just like all the other businesses here in the Carolina Outlet, nice. When we ordered our food they were pulling out their phones and not paying attention to customers. They called out our number and proceeded to drop our food. We ordered a chili cheese hot dog but when it arrived we got just a plain hot dog. We went up to the register to tell them and fix a simple mistake but instead the lady with blonde hair proceeded to catch an attitude with me but then asked for my receipt. When she realized they made the mistake she became really apologetic. If I could rate this lower than one star I would. I presume the lady with the blonde hair is the manager.
Meh. Long wait for food. Place is small and not the cleanest one
The lady with the blonde hair is very nice. I think customers need to be nice to her. She is the only one working there when they open. Having to run the register and cook is a hard job! Just be patient. I love hamburgers that are well done and not many restaurants cook their meat a while but mine was done specifically to my taste. Love the employees, the food, and the service! Please give the blonde woman a raise! It's hard to find someone willing to run 2 positions during lunch shift alone!
Service was fantastic! Staff was kind and friendly. Food came out fresh and quickly. Lobby was clean. All around great job staff!!!
The lady’s running the register was so rude to the customer in front of me than had an attitude with me there was no one in store and still took 30 minutes to get our food and the lady said she was waiting on ff. This will be the last time I come in this place while you have that lady working there.
