Awesome meal tonight at this location. The food was amazing and our waitress Amber did an excellent job serving us. Food was out promptly, our drinks never had a chance to become half empty and was a bargain for it's quality. I haven't eaten at a Bob Evans in well over 20 years, but it won't be nearly as long to return knowing this one exists. 5 stars do not do this place justice!
I haven't been to a bob Evans in over 12 years and after this experience probably will never go again. Our server was great but the food was lacking in both correctness and flavor. We ordered 2 different burgers one was suppose to come with an over easy egg on top and when we complained about it not being cooked properly the manager rudely told us we had to request the egg to be cooked the way is was described on the menu. ? Why would I need to request for it to be cooked the way it was described on the menu? Just an all around horrible experience.
This place started off strong, then faded fast. The wait staff was friendly and responsive, but our order was wrong. We both ordered cheddar potato soup and a half BLT sandwich. It took Al more 45 minutes to arrive, and we had turkey sandwiches, which we didn’t want. We sent them back, then after about 20 more minutes, only one BLT came back, and it didn’t have crispy bacon and the lettuce was very wilted. There was also no mayo. The soup was good, salty, but good on a cold day. The strawberry pie was the best part of them meal, delish! They also brewed a fresh pot of decaf coffee for us, which was very nice!
Caitlin was our waitress and was very nice and friendly. She took drink order and upon bringing them we were ready to order. Pot roast was hot and tasty. It comes with mashed potatoes and gravy and carrots. Very good... My husband had the pecan salad. He said very good ?
Very good restaurant and nice atmosphere to eat it. Will be returning very soon.
Went in around 2pm. They were abnormally busy, however my overworked waitress still kept a smile and did her best (even with the unruly couple behind us) and the food was amazing. They somehow orchestrated a symphony from a circus. Given the circumstances I'd say this deserves an extra half star if I could just for their work ethic and patience.

This one was very busy. Staff was running. Had to wait for extras. Almost done before getting jelly, water. Had almost finished food by then. Food was good.
It was DELICIOUS. servers were very slow though. Took 30 min just to get a refill on water for our party.
Soup and sandwich. Best vegetable soup I've ever had in a restaurant. Honey glazed bacon was so good. First time eating here, won't be my last. Restaurant was clean, wait staff was friendly and caring. Highly recommend the Bob Evan's restaurant in Smithfield NC
