I'm so glad we decided to stop here. It was the absolute cutest set up ever. My husband and I were doing the big yard sale on 301 and had been driving all day and just got tired and decided to get a room. The staff were so friendly. It's not the most fancy set up but it was clean and the people were friendly. We are making it a point to go back again.
They control the ac units wit a device in front office... Pretty perculiar, but if u don't wanna b cold or turn your ac on for the whole stay, your good . Call em they will turn it on my whole thing is why turn it off???
They made me feel right at home like part of the family during my move from Hilton Head, SC to Henrico near Richmond, VA. And, it's clear all employees treat it as if it's a Family-Owned business. My bike lock wouldn't fit in the UHaul truck lock & they lent me a longer lock overnight. A rustic gem. I would definitely stay there again! Thanks!
It is not the cleanest motel but the rooms are very rustic and comfortable. The staff is excellent and goes out of their way to make you stay enjoyable.
That place is very nasty and has BED BUGS!!The owner and the 2 lady’s or whatever you call it was so drunk or messed up they could not even talk when I was their.Don’t understand how they are able to stay open!Rooms are nasty, like I said BED BUGS people and they know about it and has done nothing about it !!They have one of the front desk husband running around looking in windows very creepy place!!!
I’m writing this review separately form the one for the restaurant. The difference is night and day. The motel is exactly that. It’s not a hotel. Amenities are few. The rooms are old. Built in the 80’s we were told. The place was built out of love by a man for his wife “Becky” who wanted a log cabin. It has a rustic charm and a beautiful story. but could use some repairs and updates. Our room had a king bed and a dinette. Definitely not a five star hotel. But, My Wife and I went there for a romantic weekend getaway. The weekend wasn’t all about the hotel It was about us. And Becky’s was great for that. For $75 a night on the weekend and the country decor we were more than willing to overlook some cracked caulking and faded paint. Combined with the restaurant, a review I will write separately, This place has potential to be a tourist attraction. With some major renovations and additions of course. We really hope that happens and it doesn’t end up another subdivision. So, if you’re looking for a inexpensive place to spend the night or a romantic weekend with your spouse. Please try Becky’s.
We have enjoyed many anniversary dinners at Mrs. Becky's. Local girl Emilyann (Miss. JoCo 2022), always looks forward to seeing her in her sparkly shoes Many treasures to admire each with their own story of how they were found. Go visit Mrs. Becky for some fun karaoke times too. ?♀️
I would recommend this motel above all the other s. Absolutley beautiful and breath taking it snowed during my stay and I felt like I was in the mountains. Love this place. Excellent staff clean room and extremely comfortable beds! Thank you Becky!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A lot to costly for the amount of food that you get I ordered a 12 oz steak it might have weighed 10 if that much for one person to go in there and eat and it cost him over $30 just for a state baked potato salad one little roll t to drink that's way too much
Awesome place nice cabin look inside and out bar and restaurants with in a 1 min walk. I am leaving before my room that I paid a week for is up. We will see If any refunds will be given. It clearly says no refunds. Still good people
