The food at this Waffle House was great as usual. However the service was very slow. The staff tried their best, but were extremely short staffed. I unquired as where the assistant manager was and was told there wasn't one during the evening/night shift.I'm a bit old school, but if the business is short staffed and popular you have the assistant manager "ON" duty during the night shift to shore up the staff.
I am a fair person, especially with restaurants on holidays or special days. But on this day which happens to be Mothers day, I went into this waffle house with a simple order. Two patty melt combos but unfortunately I guess I was not visible to anyone but I stood at the"Pay for your order, Order Here" stand for atleast 20 mins. Waiting to be talked to or acknowledge or anything. So I left and walked right out because it only takes 2 secs to acknowledge someone especially on a day where they were not busy and had atleast 8 people working. Hope this review suits you guys well.
My experience at Waffle House is phenomenal so far. But I don’t have any transportation to get to work right now.
walked in this morning to the staff rolling there eyes..... Dennys is down the road and way better sevice.
Great food as usual and the service was spot on. Never run out of coffee.
3 customers in dinning room and I still had to wait over 15 minutes to place my to go order . Had to listen to the two waitress bad mouth the other shift and how to steal from Walmart. Food was horrible.....find another cook. Dirty and unsanitary
Was really next door at Murphy's. But Waffle House is a decent spot to eat at. They're just a tad bit expensive now. Good food at an extremely fast pace; even when it's odd hours; is always good business.
So I just left this place. 3/19 12:20am. I went in to make a to go order. When I stepped up to the counter to place my order she said she’ll be with me in a minute. She made call outs to the cooks and started doing other things. I’m still standing there waiting to place my order. A couple comes in and sits down at the high top table and the lady that told me she’d be with me in a minute proceeds to take their order. I was there at least 10 mins before they got there and she took their order ahead of me. Terrible service. The lady at the counter was a short dark hair Caucasian girl. She needs to know how to wait on people in the order they come in and not skip over other people.
Well... after seeing the understaffed sign and after helping the poor waitress while people stand around, we later found out why she was behind... Then proceeded to get one cup of water which tasted like cleaner, and one plain water...
The food was good but my order was messed up but they fixed it when I was trying to tell the young lady it was wrong she was trying to fast talk me and I didn't appreciate that. Also the employers where arguing when I first entered the building
