Not offering ice cream like milk shakes. Shame.
I hope they were just having a bad day & I am sure understaffed but... long wait to order but had promised grandbabies Sonic on the road. So we waited. Ordered and waited & waited. First brought wrong order. Sent back. Then part of our correct order. Flagged them down again asking for the rest of the order. Waited so long that husband and I had finished eating for the missing grilled cheese and fries. Husband stated "worst hamburger I've ever ate" and even the kids agreed.Even understandably unstaffed the quick stop totaled 49 mins and was quite extreme in thr # of errors.
I come here almost every day but haven't been able to bring myself back here for about 3 weeks now due to an rude encounter with one of your staff. I was trying to order and the lady comes outside and says "i can't hear you because you talking too low, can you just tell me what you want". I dont think yall realise that sometime it is not us as i was literally yelling at the speaker. Sometimes yalls speakers are just very gargled sounding. Anyways I will be back this week hope i don't get told i am "speaking to low" again.
My daughter ordered 3 drinks Friday evening waited for over 30 minutes no drinks came out she kept pushing the button and no one responded. People were going up to the door knocking on it and no one was answering the door either. So she finally gave up and left without the drinks she paid for. We went back today Sunday and pushed the button to order again thought we would give it a second chance. But unfortunately no one even answered too take our order. We waited for 15 min then left. Such poor service short handed or not you can at least answer and take an order apologize for the wait.
Went by twice in the past week. First time they said they were short handed and only done the drive thru window, however we sat at the drive try for 5 minutes and no one ever took our order. Last night we sat at the pull in for 10 minutes and no one came on to take our order, however they kept walking in and out to smoke and one stayed outside working on her motorcycle. Also the ones walking in, I never seen one wash they’re hands as they walked in!!! Should be shut down. I called customer service and was offered free drinks. I told them there wasn’t any need because I wouldn’t get anyone to take my order to get them.
Horrible customer service. Every time I have gone something went wrong. The first time I was not only charged for my own meal but the person behind me. They never issued me a refund they just told me to call my bank. But my bank was unable to do anything. Then second time I went back months later. I sat at the drive thru speaker for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged that I was there. I eventually got frustrated and left due to I was on a time restraint for lunch. Needles to say I won’t be back.
They’re doing a really good job of keeping up with orders & maintaining the flow of business while being severely understaffed. Lots of hard-workers. 10/10. ??????????
Waited what seemed like 30 minutes or more after I placed my order at the drive thru speaker, the tea tasted spoiled, my sons fries was cold, his burger was really chewy like rubber and cold , my mom's hotdog was tough and cold, my cheddar poppers were hot but no sauce like I was asked if I wanted none at all, my Buffalo chicken pieces actually tasted like they had been sitting under the heat lamp for way to long and then heated in the microwave and tossed in the Buffalo sauce,they were not freshly made at all and again silk no sauce with them either. Seen one lady have a child on her hip in the kitchen area, one lady answered her personal cell while not wearing any gloves and walked back towards the kitchen area while making food and still talking on the phone. This is the first time I've ever had an issue with Sonic. It will be a good long while before I return right along with my mom and son.
While orders aren't always perfect, no place is. But today when I thought I had an issue with a substitution charged wrong a lady patiently helped me understand how substitutions work even though they were short staffed. I realized it was my fault and honestly they don't have time to deal with this but they did. Food was just fine too!
Very nice staff. They had just opened and promptly came out to let us know our food would take a little longer due to it being frssh
