My order was completely off. I ordered #4- 5 pc tenders and got 5 pieces of in bone chicken and ordered 2 breast with a biscuit, the biscuits were in a bag by themselves and I got 2, -3 piece dinners instead of the 2 breasts. The only thing right were the drinks.
This place sucks I ordered on line thinking it would be faster....ish...the employees are in there playing around and on their cellphones . This will be the last time I come here and we love some Popeyes. One person has been sitting here since we pulled up and they nor I have received Our food. Will definitely be calling corporate on Monday. They deserve 0 stars!!!!!! As I write this still haven't gotten my food and was supposed to be ready @3:50pm and it is now 4:12pm!!!!!
Food was decent but the service was absolutely a joke and the place was dirty as hell. Picture shows the windows as the example of how dirty.
It took some time to order at the window. We oder go to the pic up window and pay. Then we had to pull up and wait some more. When the food came out to us it was COLD. How in the world we have to wait on our food and it's comes out COLD???? It had been a minute scents we went the last time. So we figured it was better. NO it was worse. Cutting them off for good no more Popeye in Shelby.
I love Popeyes. However, Popeyes 13580 in Shelby on EAST DIXON BLVD is the worst. They want you to pay for things you didn't order and then they give you attitude about it. The staff doesn't know what customer service is. I have to call corporate to get my money back because Chad doesn't think people keep receipts. I didn't get my food and they didn't give me the refund that was promised to my card. The transaction didn't cancel. Highly [email protected]
This place has been hyped up for years. Now when I think about this establishment I can associate it with the State of Louisiana; flat, dry and ridden with ‘oil’ rigs. My partner and me finally tried the ‘oh so popular’ chicken sandwich and a few other menu items. To our surprise, both of us concluded the sandwich was nearly flavorless and extremely dry. No amount of sauce could’ve have washed it down either. The other menu items can be made at home and seasoned your way at a much better price. The two stars aren’t for the food by any means. They are for the kind staff and cleanliness of the facility which are the only two things good about this place.
Employees were nice but my food was cold and greasy even though they pulled me up to wait. I ordered 5 spicy tenders and half of them were mild. Fries were limp and gross. And they forgot the sauce. But that’s on me, I know it’s a 50/50 chance at any Popeyes that the experience will be bad and I still went.
Went on 3/10 to get a family meal that consisted of the bone-in chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and the macaroni and cheese. When arriving I got greeted with a very unfriendly worker to start off my order. Well I decided to just look past the unfriendliness and went ahead with my order. Once arriving to the window I noticed what looked to be only 2 or 3 employees at the most working in there. As soon as I got to the window and paid I was told to pull forward. After a few mins I received my order and came home and my mom, boyfriend and myself ate. The food seemed to be fine but I woke up that night with the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had! Ended up having to go to the ER because I was severely dehydrated. It is now 3/14 and I am STILL not feeling well from getting sick from there! So please save yourself the trouble and DO NOT go to this restaurant! The staff is super unfriendly and apparently isn’t following food safety standards and there is some kind of cross contamination with their food there! I would hate to see what the inside of that restaurant looks like! I will not EVER eat there or any Popeyes again for that matter!
I was very upset and hungry ? I will never spend $10 at a trash box like this again. I use to love Popeyes. Definitely not the one in shelby gastonia or gaffeny, let Louisiana have they chain back bc NC to SC is not representing. And yes I ate at the Popeyes in New Orleans "totally different "
Dining was closed due to short staff but everyone was friendly. Our order was missing some items but it was rectified immediately and our food was hot + tasty. No errors on the quality of service + food.
