Brianca was an amazing server. My son described his cheeseburger as being exquisite. Also ordered food to go and it was accurate. Definitely will be eating here more often.
CRYSTAL IS THE BEST! Had a group of 20 softball players/family, Saturday night, 6:00…….she made it happen. Wait staff was great. Crystal continued to checkin with us throughout dinner. Super friendly and personable!
A great, laid back, classic restaurant. My son and I went for lunch, it's my 1st time but my son has been several. The decor is a timeless exposed brick. Located on the corner so they have lots of windows that opened up like garage doors, letting in a nice breeze and wafting out an aroma that was surely tempting passersby. We split a chicken bacon ranch pizza and mmmmm! The tomatoes were sweet and juicy the bacon was thick and crispy and the crust...i could taste the ash (for lack of a better term) from the wood fire. It's was so yummy. Out server was prompt and nice.
We are here with the Airstream Club for "Shining in Shelby" ....I absolutely love the good here at Pleasant City Wood Fired Grill! Everything we've eaten here is delicious and the staff are so nice! Thank you for having us and we will be back!!
Son and I were in Shelby at lunchtime and decided to drive to Uptown as they call it, away from the fast food options on the bypass. Walked in this place and found a very nice appearance. We both ordered the classic cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Crowd was about 25% of capacity, and our food was delivered in a timely fashion. The fries weren't even warm and had obviously been cooked way before we arrived. The burgers were warm, but far from hot. Given the amount of time our order took to arrive there was no way it had time to get cold while waiting to be delivered. The fries were cold all the way to the bottom of the pile so not as if the top ones cooled off in transit. We ate the burgers because we were hungry, hoping they were at least in the ServSafe "safe zone," and guessed they were salted enough to be preserved from danger. Our server asked if we wanted to box the fries and I said no because I think they are last night's. She was surprised and went to the next table over to ask the "manager" who had been sitting with patrons the entire time we were there, what to do. I told her we weren't looking for a discount (covid has been hard on restaurants.) He told her to remove the fries from the bill and then actually interrupted his conversation to go to the register with her. Apparently it was too much for him to come to our table to personally apologize, or even make eye contact with us from afar. She came back with our tab reduced by $3. Then she said she hoped the burgers were good and I told her they were barely warm, to which she replied "the people in the kitchen are stupid." We won't be returning on our next trip thru Shelby.
Second time coming here and getting the spinach artichoke dip, so great. If you are into spicy then the jalapeno popper pizza is just for you! The flavor is amazing from the cheese, the sauce, to the fresh jalapenos and all. It is mouth watering good. In for a simple pizza, the cheese pizza is delicious as well. Very friendly and clean restaurant. Great prices for great food! Give it a try! It's worth it!!
Worth the drive! Great food and service,gluten free options including pizza! Many options on tap, including 2 gluten free ciders and extensive wine list.
The people were really nice, but the food wasn't very good for the price charged. The guys liked their burgers, but the pizza wasn't good, and the Philly didn't have much flavor, the chicken Alfredo wasn't the bomb, and for a $100 bill I really expected to be wowed by the food. Fries were normal shoestring fries with seasoning and wings were good but normal fried wings and them bread stick things were different, but good. Our waitress was really sweet she definitely earned her tip ♥️❤️. Thanks, bubbly platinum blonde girl!
Great place to eat and super friendly staff. Great atmosphere and lots of good choices on the menu. I had pepperoni pizza this time and the ranch, excellent. Seating was abundant. Great place, we'll definitely be back!
Good hamburgers but that's about it. The pizza was sent back because it was poorly made, and under cooked. (tasted like frozen)The servers were polite but thats not why we go there. The prices don't reflect the food quality. After three visits, not excited about ever going back. ?
