Night shift of Shelby 24/7 McDonald's @ the Intersection on 74! Y'all got it down to a science! When I pulled up yall had a line wrapped around the building. We got through the whole line in less than 5 minutes! I am an Assistant Manager at a restaurant in Lincolnton. I know how it all goes. Let me say y'all r awesome and keep up the good work. I was impressed!
It's McDonald's so.... I mean, the food is always good but the service often times is not. They are average in speed and accuracy but are below average in customer service. Some employees are kind and outgoing but most of the time they don't even speak. No "welcome to McDonald's", no "can I take your oder?" You're lucky it they even say "go ahead". Never a "thank you" but I'm still always nice to them anyway. All in all, like I said, it's McDonald's.
Worst experience for the 100th time in a row. Ordered two double cheeseburgers, large fries, large sweet tea. The woman at the phone automatically assumed we were done with our order. Rushed us to the 2nd window. I got the rest of my order in there. Added my meal of two cheeseburgers and fries and a dr. Pepper. Ended up getting the two correct drinks, a small fry and a 10 piece nugget. This was the one time we didn’t check the bag. The night staff here are rude and they all need to be Fired if they can’t simply do a job that consist of making sure the right people got the right foot. the customer shouldn’t have to check the bag to make sure someone did their job right. Awful!
The food is pretty standard for a McDonald's, but the service is shaky at best. I work 3rd shift, and for 5 nights in a row I've gone to this location between 1:00AM and 4:00AM and gotten a different excuse each time for why they can't serve anyone. I've heard the grills are down, being cleaned, registers are down, and another time was told they were out of meat (which I don't buy for a minute since they were running smoothly just two hours later).If you're going to be closed consistently during those hours, then post it online and stop wasting people's time by posting "open 24 hours" when it's clearly not the case
I went to this store and placed my order at this Mcdonald's. A lady that was working at the window had such a bad attitude. Because I asked her to report my order she said that she did not have time for this and asked did I want her to cancel my order, I said no and she said have a good day ma'am and slam the window. I did not get my order. This place is unprofessional and don't understand why you would have a person like this working for your company. I would rather have one person working my company with a good attitude than a whole crew with a bad attitude.
Hit Micky D's early this a.m. Feb 17 2022 around 5:15. I think they were short staffed because I had a bit of a wait in the drive thru. I was very happy as my breakfast was hot & fresh. Got the 4.39 deal for 2. Hot & fresh in most Shelby fast food places is rare so this was a treat for a change. Good job Micky D's 5 star service this morning!
I will not be going to the McDonald's down by the high school anymore. I ordered my food pulled up to the window, he asked me to pull up to the last window so I did. I waited 10 minutes on my food which was only a sausage burrito and hash brown. At least 7 vehicles received their food and pulled around me while I sat there and waited. Very uncalled for.
The service is horrible even if you order online on their mobile app and sit there to pick it up it still takes about 20 minutes and then you try to go to the drive-through to pick it up instead but there they don’t take the drive-through orders because they say they’re so backed up but there’s nobody in line
Preordered online at 10am arrived at 10:17am and sat in the drive thru for 12mins and was told i could not get my breakfast. After i ask the associate to cancel the order from her end she proceeded to get extremely rude .
I’ve never had a bad experience here. Employees are friendly and food is always made right.
