Located on Hwy 74 (Dixon Blvd.), It's a smallish place - 12 booths seating 4 around the perimeter of the dining room with rows of tables that accommodate larger parties - but their way of serving moves things along pretty quick. You enter the room and order from a lady sitting at a table at the entrance. Then, you pay for the food at the cashier and get your number to which someone brings the drinks and food..Yes, they had watermelon for sale, as well as single slices of cake and T-shirts. 3 flat screen TVs surround the room (all showing NASCAR while we were there) with Christian related art on the walls.Catfish is what we came for and we got more than we bargained for. Normally, at least in this area, a "large" catfish is 3 fish, a regular is 2.When ordering, you specify the size of the fish you want - small, medium or large - along with the quantity. We both went medium sized. So our large order of medium-sized fish were 6 (six!) fish, plus hushpuppies, crinkle fries and slaw for $12.When you taste the sweet tea and it's made like a good Southern sweet tea should be made, there is hope on how this fish is going to taste. Man, this fish was outstanding! Breading was more of a flour and egg wash than cornmeal. Fish meat was flaky but firm.In short, this is the best catfish I've had in this state since moving here 20 years ago.Oh, and neither of his finished the plate. We await the leftovers tomorrow.

Food had a hair in it.One person costed $24.. for a small plateTasted awful. Left the food on tableThe only thing that was good was the tea. Will never go back.

I haven't been here in years. I was shocked how good the food was. We will definitely eat here again. We got catfish, shrimp and calabash chicken. The kids could they could drink the ranch sauce.

I Been here in Shelby 14 years and first time eating here. Never again will I leave Shelby for my seafood. And you get so much for the great price. You got my business and we bought some coins also.

My husband and I always get the fish Platter to share and unless your a big eater its perfect for 2. I love their oysters.

Great food. Always fresh and piping hot when it arrives to your table. The service is OK. But for the most part it is self service so I am OK with that. I am quite able to get my drink refill

Food was good...service was not so good. Had to wait, 5 people after myself got there food first. Waiter said the guy forgot to put my order in.

The Flounder is good. However I was not happy with the new setup they had. You have to go in stand in line to place your order then stand in line to pay. They need to change around to a setup more like Golden Corral. Also the leave the ice sitting our open and if you want more tea and water you get it yourself.

Food ok, tarter sauce blows!!!! Nowhere near greasy as fisherman's feast!!! Def a plus plus

For many years one of our all-time favorite fish camps (and one of the only ones left in this area of the Carolinas). Fast, consistently great food, friendly staff, good prices. Only complaints: Too many hushpuppies and bad parking. Parking I can put up with, but I'd like to get a seafood platter that is ALL FISH and not HALF hushpuppies.
