Ok, so here goes. First I love ALL Asian foods, never say no till you try. Shelby is a VERY small little town. This is a small Chinese buffet, it works. EXTREMELY friendly staff, very clean, decent selections considering the size of the place. Flavors were really pretty good. Only disappointment NO steamed fish?. Who dosen't luv Chinese stemed fish.Overall I would go back, my new mission is to visit VERY small little towns to find hidden gems to share. So if passing tru this tiny town go there for lunch!??
I have lived in Shelby for 6 years and this is the first time to the China Buffet. Upon entering I thought the decor was nice and seemed to be very clean. We were greeted right away and seated she took our drink order...it came promptly. Large selection on the five station buffet. Sushi was offered and made fresh by an chef. Great selection of noodles, chicken, shrimp. They had a salad bar and fresh fruit even ice cream in a cup. Service was nice an food reasonable at a little over 12 dollars for all you can eat. Needless to say we are satisfied and stuffed.

I love this place and have been going here for years, they're friendly and the food is always good. I go so often that the lady who seems to be the manager or maybe owner and I always speak to each other and see how each other is doing. Very sweet people.
The food and service is great. Price is not too bad unless you get something to go. 1 box is more than a buffet. Just saying.
Enjoyed the dinner. Food Could have been a little fresher and needed to be more of it but we were there late (around 8:30) they close at 9:30. Would eat there again
The food is great they have sushi and I really like the honey chicken. I gave it a 4 because there was this one employee that was not pleasant. She didn't answer questions politely. Everyone else was great except for her.
The price is great, but I've gotten sick both times I've eaten here. This past time, I got a to-go box for the buffet, and half the sushi I got was fine, whereas some pieces tasted like fish that shouldn't have had fish. I took a bite of the peppersteak with onions, and immediately spit it back out; it was either bad or hardly cooked. I ended up throwing 90% of the food I'd gotten away. I won't be returning a third time.
Awesome food but needs more variety in my opinion but can't knock the service and food! Definitely be back again when where in the area
