this place by distance there are no more options, the flavors are the only thing that is worth the 4 stars the retro design very careless, there is a lot missing in customer service, the acoustics of the room where the tables are is terrible, but it is the only ice cream parlor in Sanford must correct many things and continue to be an icon of this city for quality, design and attention not only for taste
I was visiting my mom and she brought me here. The ice cream was absolutely amazing. The food was good, and the prices can't be best! Will definitely be going back next time I visit.
Awesome!! Looks like this place is standing for a long time, lot of history.. ice cream was authentic, lots of flavors which you normally don't see other places.. on Sunday when most of the downtown was closed, this place was full of customers.. locals love it I guess..If you are ever in Sanford, give it a try. You won't regret it.
This is a wonderful, classic diner and ice cream parlor. We had burgers and fries and my grandson had some ice cream. Everything was quite good and the service was excellent. If you are visiting the antique shops in Sanford (as one should) this is the place to eat.

Nice shop! Excellent ice cream, friendly service. Didn't get to try the deli part, but based on how many folks lined up, I'm planning my return trip already. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.
The banana split we got was the prettiest sundae I'd seen. Tasted yummy too! However, the best thing about Yarborough's is Mollies Follies ice cream. Delicious and undescribable from any other flavors.
Been coming here for years and used to really love it! Ordered four burgers for my family with fries. It took over 35 minutes to get our burgers which were cold, fries were cold and soggy too. On a positive note ice cream was great!
Always good food and always love good food, love their hotdogs and hamburgers, fries and onion rings are hot and on your table or to go. People are friendly and customers are nice and polite also, see some people I haven't seen in a while, the place is always clean and always a good place to go.
Came in for the first time because someone recommend the ice cream. Saw the grill. Ordered family's food. We ordered at 6:19. Our order came out at 6:30. Got everything but my grandson's bacon cheeseburger. Went back to the counter at 6:45 after seeing 4-5 cheeseburgers come to other tables. Larry, the cook, said it wasn't on my ticket - I showed him it WAS!!! Went back because at 6:52 we still didn't have it!!! After arguments we finally got it - everyone else at the table was finished!! Not a way to run a business!
