Honestly, where do I even start with this place? The staff here are all rude as ever and the food quality is terrible. It is pretty clear that there is a management and culture issue at this Wendy’s. Every time I’ve come here I was met by rude/aggressive employees who make it seem like you’re a burden to them. To top it off, the food I order is never prepared correctly or is disgusting due to the cold fries and/or stale buns they like to use. Even the female manager uses an aggressive tone and is very snarky and rude. One time I came to the drive through at 9PM and she said they were closed even though it says their open until 1AM. When I asked why they were closed so early she yelled, “I DON’T HAVE ANY STAFF SO I’M CLOSED!!” When I went to exit the parking lot I literally saw four employees outside by the door smoking cigarettes and looking at their phones. I’m able to look past one or two bad experiences at places I spend money at, but after all four of my experiences here being bad, I simply decided to stop coming here. It is crystal clear that the folks running this Wendy’s could care less about their customers. If you are looking for a burger place specifically, there are many better options nearby. If you’re just hungry, there’s a Chick Fil A in the same parking lot and some other great options with good customer service. The Wendy’s in Lillington is so much better. Avoid the Sanford Wendy’s at all costs, unless you want rude customer service and disgusting food.

I understand short staffing but there is no need to be rude.

It's a shame that this Wendy's can't take drive through orders or allow dine in due to staffing shortages. My husband was turned away at the drive through. They couldn't accept drive through orders or allow dine in customers. Only online orders and door dash. When I called to ask why I was amazed anyone answered the phone. And she said she was the only one working. She told me she was instructed to only fill online and doordash orders....

This location is absolutely horrible. The staff working this morning on 4-4-22 are lazy, rude, and disrespectful! They were supposed to open and serving at 6:30 am and it is now 7:23 am and they are "still setting up" and closed.... when they were called out for it, they were very defensive and disrespectful. Do yourself a favor and don't waste money at this location!! Try Lillington or somewhere else all together because this location no matter what shift just absolutely sucks. There is also a Wendy's guarantee on fresh fries but NEVER EVER AT THIS LOCATION

We drove thru and ordered abaked potato with chili and were told they did not have any potatoes.we then hot to the window to speak some one and make a different order.we then asked for a cup of chili very disappointed over not having these .the individual never said sorry we do not have theses at this time he gave me explaination

I have tried to get breakfast here THREE TIMES in less than a month and this Sanford NC restaurant has not been open. Just SORRY.

My new go to for my favorite burger of all time! The bourbon bacon cheese burger is the best thing since sliced bread!

Whoever the girl is at the window taking the orders is rude! When an order is incorrect, you make it over you don’t say “you didn’t tell me that” or “it’s already made” - retrain your staff!

I ordered here when they were busy and my whole order was wrong. I just let it go because they were busy BUT last night was super bowl Sunday and we decided to give them a try since the game just started and Wendy's did not have a car in sight and not busy at all. I ordered it online and my husband went to pick it up and went to give the order number but they said we only go by name and they had only TWO orders so two orders should have been right my husband gave my name after leaving half way home he realized they never gave him the drink he turned around to get it and was hoping that was all that would be wrong. Once home the entire order was wrong!! And since he already had to go back for the drink he wasn't going to go back to fix the order. When your not busy and forget things in the order and mess the whole thing up there is no reason to go back.

Food was cold we had coupon and they charged nus for full meal and didn't know how to take it off the burger was cold and the fries was hard as a brisket, they gave us new fries and they was cold. Wendy's need to train all over again and cook fresh food from now on.
