tried today for the first time at ole mill it was superb! had, BBQ, potato salad, and fries. all ?nice people too!
Lord have Mercy! You have to try this BBQ! The amount of food you get is very generous and has a nice local flavor. Huge side selection and a few seafood items. Don't waste your money on the quick fast food chains and get you some Stubbs! Support your local small business.
I got the catfish plate. It was absolutely amazing ! Hubby got the bbq and he loved his too. Definitely didn't regret trying this place!!! Tried going back the very next day but they were closed...lol.
The food is always fresh and hot and the milkshakes are thick and creamy. Delicious! Great staff and speedy service.
Sandwich was great and the sides were almost a feature, could have easily just made lunch out of the side menu. Going back on a Wednesday to try the ribs.
Just took our neighbors to the Carthage location for lunch on a Friday. Fortunately, there was room inside for the four of us to eat (the pollen outside was ridiculous!). Our friends moved from a very large city up North and we wanted them to see what bbq is like in the rural South. We were not disappointed. The food (bbq plate and bbq sandwiches, fries, banana pudding) was fantastic and Gary was sitting in the "lobby" and gave us quite an education on the food his business prepares. It was quite an experience for our friends and us alike. We can't wait to return some Wednesday for his special ribs!
I always like all the food even if I order chicken or other things besides BBQ, the BBQ is excellent better than all around. I love the southern food, everything I have tried is good My Mom loves the BBQ, pork chops, chicken, biscuits, ham etc all is good nothing I have tried is bad never has been. We use to visit the one going to Pittsboro all the time growing up. I know it was another name then and then the owner now wanted his name on the business.
Absolutely love this place. I thought about moving to Sanford after my first taste. But sadly that hasn't happened. I do make it my mission to visit when possible. Friendly staff, the food, omg the food. Just mouth watering.
Stopped in for the first time today…friendly people and great food! Look forward to coming back.
