What can I say? I pass by Nonno’s every day and I’ve been meaning to stop by.You walk in, and they greet you right away. We ordered our food in person, and yea, they deliver as well! So we waited around the gas station (don’t worry, that doesn’t change anything) and it took about 20 minutes.I ordered the chicken and broccoli, and my partner ordered the chicken carolina. Both are GREAT! I’m no connoisseur of fine Italian, so take it for what it’s worth. I recommend it. Why both driving all the way out to Fayetteville or Raleigh? Just stop at Nonnos. Plus, they have Pizza! That will be my next spot.UPDATE: We ordered pizza and honestly… still incredible. Definitely go here for your pizza and Italian food needs!
We’ve had their pizza both pepperoni and sausage… very scrumptious, but this Bella Donna hit the spot tonight! Salad was crisp, ranch was tasty (rich but light in taste) sauce (much like a vodka sauce in color & texture) with chicken and bacon was wonderful. Penne wasn’t over or under cooked, and Italian bread was perfect for dunking. This Italian girl is pleased & will reorder ❤️
My boyfriend and I decided to do a mid-week takeout date night. We settled on Nonno's since it's right down the street from our house. It's location (being in a gas station) did not deter us, especially because we'd seen some pretty great reviews. He got the chicken and broccoli, and I got the chicken carolina. Each came with a small side salad and a slice of garlic bread. Each dish was delicious! I couldn't even eat all of mine because I was so full! (That's okay, it's my lunch for work now.) There were really only two things I think could be better. The side salad was only lettuce and tomato, and I wish there was another veggie on there, but I get that it's just a small side salad, so it's really not that big of a deal. I would have also liked if the garlic bread had a bit more of a garlic flavor--it was a slice of baguette with butter and garlic on it, but it was just too light for me. It was still delicious, though, and I still gobbled it down! I want to give 4.5 stars, but I'm not sure that's a thing. Overall, we will definitely be back! :D
As someone who grew up in both NYC and northeastern New Jersey the food is very good. Very close to what you'd get up in NJ or NY.
I stopped in to try out the pizza 1 night and I've been back 5 times since.Delicious pizza. NJ native here.
I'm a New Yorker and this is the best pizza around this area. I'm so glad they opened. It's like a weekly dinner for us.
