The coffee here is great and the service is wonderful! I've been here 3 years and only just discovered this cute little gem. I ordered the "angel food cake" latte and it was divine. Many coffee shops are too sweet or too bitter, Matilda's was in the Goldilocks zone. It's a shame the shop is so far from my house! This will definitely be my go to place when shopping in Sanford!
First time customer here and I am hooked! Not only is the coffee amazing, the flavor options are delicious (and seem to be endless). I have not tried any of their food items, but I will be in the near future.The prices are pretty average for the product and they have a customer card that allows you to get a free coffee or waffle on your 11th visit! (Love places that still do this!)The young woman at the window was an absolute delight! I informed her that I had never been there before and she was very welcoming, informative, and polite. As someone who has worked in the food/beverage industry for 15 years, it is such a wonderful feeling to experience such GREAT customer service!!I cannot wait to tell my friends and family to check out Matilda’s! I’m even more excited for my next trip and purchase!Thank you!!!!
My wife and I were really impressed by the coffee. It matched the reviews we had read. Not too sweet, fun unique drinks, and we could taste the quality coffee even with the flavoring. We'll definitely go back the next time we're driving through Sanford in the morning.
Great service and prices. Great drinks as well. I haven't tried their waffles yet, but want to soon. Love that they are a local business.
Staff is friendly, and I haven’t tried the waffles. Coffee—very acidic tasting, not quite as strong as I generally like it to be, and milk wasn’t frothed enough.
De used to try the Sin latte today and it was delicious. However, I usually go after the açaí bowls. I always order the #2. Service was great as usual. They are friendly and it feels good to support small businesses.
I love coffee with half and half. No flavors. I guess it is weird, yet; my wonderful barista made it perfectly!! She is sweet and wonderful. Glad we stopped by.Needless to say, I loved my coffee!!

Moved to Sanford just under a year ago and am thrilled to have found this local gem! Great coffee, smoothies and the baristas are always kind as well as hard workers. The matcha smoothie with oat milk is delish!
Sweet barista and yummy coffee! I got the creme brûlée iced coffee! Wish there was an even bigger cup!
