Pulled in the drive thru at 4:00 pm. Was greeted by “We can’t serve sundaes right now”. So I asked for 2 chili cheese dogs and was immediately told we don’t serve food after 4pm. I stated it was exactly 4 and his reply was “We don’t serve food after 4”. Did not ask if he could help with anything else just silence.
I apologize because I am not here to wreck a business or hurt an employee, but whoever you have working there now should be replaced. Hates his job, worse than McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger King employees with a ho-hum attitude and doesn't say thank you. I know times are tough for employees, so unfortunately we live in a society that we have to accept below mediocrity. But this took the cake and I can not stop at this place any longer. Pulled up, the same awful guy is working (long hair, beard) and says "we are closed for a few minutes". This is 2ish. I thought he would say something isn't working, but he said "I am in the bathroom and the only one working". Wow! I said, "ok, I can wait a minute". He said, "it will be 20 minutes". BYE. How gross and nasty is that. I would rather hear a lie and say all machines are down. I feel bad for the guy and at least he is trying, but management HAS to talk to this guy. Good luck and feel bad, but that is just too weird and gross.
Always closes early. Stops serving ice cream early. They might as well just close down.
The ice cream machine is down more than it is operating. And you might pull up and find they are randomly closed. Not to mention when they run out of hot dogs and French fries. Very poorly managed DQ.
I get there is a shortage of workers right now but if you aren’t going to open or open late you need to put a sign on the door. ?
Never say thank you. They close at 7 but I’ve been there multiple time around 6 and 6:30 and they were closed. Looked at all the reviews and see I’m not alone! DQ Fan relations please don’t give the general response saying sorry and ask for another chance. Make a change!
Awful experience! Closed at 7 when we were waiting in line at 6:45. Speaker broken and credit card machine down. This place needs to be shut down!!
Apparently they close at 4 because of being short staffed. Their speaker is broken so once I got to the window I ordered a blizzard only to be told that the machine is “down” which we all know is never true. Who closes at 4 on a Friday? Why not open later so you can stay open later? Also stop cleaning your blizzard machine early and telling people “it’s down”.

I’ve given this place 3 tries. Never had good or friendly service. Every time the blizzard was basically vanilla ice cream. When I asked about it the 2 girls could have cared less and were very rude. I’ve read the other reviews and see that they all get the same standard response. Basically they are going to continue the same bad service no matter what. I won’t go back and I’ll def spread the word.
