Have you ever felt like you were not wanted?A few of us walked in about 30 minutes before closing and the hostess tried to dissuade us from staying, saying they only had burgers and fries. Fine with us we'll even be quick about choosing because we knew they wanted to get home, just like us.(You might be asking why we just didnt go somewhere else but at this time of night in Sanford any kind of sit down restaurant was about to be closed.)By the time our server came to get our drink order we also knew what we wanted to eat. Refills were non existent. When our food did come out my fries were already cold. It seems we were in more of a hurry than our server was.I for one will never go back. Could hardly eat the food once it did come thinking if ever there was a time someone messed with my food this was it.Horrible experience
Food was fantastic. Had a club sandwich that was big enough for two people. Would have given five stars, but they were severely understaffed - just 2 wait staff and 2 cooks. They did a fantastic job and I wasn't in a hurry. A few flies. They comped one sandwich b/c it was made incorrectly. Great service considering how short staffed they were
We are visiting Sanford. Drove by a few times looked busy, so we decided to give it a try. Very disappointed! The food took forever, had to ask for silverware, when we got it, nothing but a fork was given to us. Then when asked for a knife, one of them was dirty. I ordered the Caesar salad had chicken that had been cooked till it resembled leather, the lettuce was limp, seemed like it was put under the warmer. My family members meals were just ok. It is in need of a major refresh! The plus side, we had a good waitress.
This is by far the slowest place I’ve been. About 40 minutes after ordering 1 burger came out. 10 min later the second burger.. 5 min later the wing basket. They were not busy.
We were one of only 4 tables seated and the service was awful. The sides we ordered weren't available so they guessed what we would want and brought that instead. They brought out another side option but we had already finished eating by then. The 'hot' coffee was room temperature at best. The burger bun and tater tots were hard as rocks. The food was tolerable at best, and the portions were small. No one checked on us during our meal and we had to ask for drink refills 3 times before they came but then they weren't correct. It was very expensive for such poor service and poor quality food. I would certainly not recommend and will not be returning.
I walked and sat the bar for lunch. The bar rail was empty. It took about 7 minutes before the bartender came out and gave me a menu and I ordered a sweet tea. And he said he would be right back. Mean while two gentlemen sat a table in the bar shortly after I had sat down. They waited around 15 minutes and never were acknowledged and left. The bar tender came out a few times and completely ignored me. After about 25 minutes and my order has not been taken I asked the greater to find my bartender I’ve been waiting 25 minutes and no has taken my order. The bartender heard me and apologized and then said they were a little understaffed today then walked way. Still didn’t take my order. I waited about two more minutes for him. He didn’t come back so I got up and left
So my experience today was not so great. My coworker and I chose Coach's today for some wings,, their special today so we doordash ordered it and I went to pick up. The doordash stamped my time ordered at 12:26 got to coach's around 1:00 p.m. that's 30 minutes ...enough time...I would think . But no I waited an additional 15 minutes...look in the bag no ranch of course I have to have ranch with wings. I'm expecting my food to be piping hot ...guess what no it was not...tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for hours. Some pictures to describe my frustration. My ranch cup was not even half full. I understand prices are going up but the food should not go down in quality.
Came in to Coach’s today to celebrate a friends birthday. Had the most amazing time with Michelle the bartender. Michelle is more than knowledgeable and made the whole experience refreshingly fun!! Her drinks were on point and the food came out fast and was delicious!! I highly recommend any day at coach’s especially if Michelle is there. She absolutely made the whole experience from start to finish. We will define returning to try different dishes and definitely will be coming back to see Michell!!
Just had the worst dining experience EVER. !! Waitress didn't bring out food while it was hot . Ordered a steak she bought an practical empty bottle of sauce for two ppl . Didn't offer any other options just a1 . Ordered loaded mash potatoes & nearly died eating fake bacon bits that cut like glass. !!! Couldn't even finish my luke warm food. Shrimp was salty. The place was practically empty our food shouldn't have been cold Just paid & left the food. Will never go there again !!
I come to Sanford once a year and I always find myself eating at Coach’s at least twice while I’m there. Food is always very good, place is always clean and have very nice staff. Good beer selection also.
