Bacon Cheese fries had an odd taste and fries was hard! Garlic knots was cold and hard! Pizza was ok.... My tea glass stayed empty the entire time I was there, was never checked on until we were ready to leave....

Sweet tea 10/10!! Stromboli was amazing!! Garden Salad is good, they have in house made ranch. Their rotisserie chicken is good on anything they offer. Great staff and service.

My sister and I usually venture out towards Raleigh for pizza on Fridays. Today we decided to try sometime different and we loved it! Reminded us of pizza joints we used to visit as kids with family. Food was delicious! And our waitress, Anna, was wonderful! We definitely came at a good time because when we were leaving around 7pm it was packed!!! Will definitely be back.

Great homemade Italian food. From the dinner rolls to the pastas. Friendly staff and clean establishment. Can’t wait til the one in Sanford opens. But until then we’ll drive the 25 min to get there. Well worth it!

The food is great but don’t ever order it Togo… My husband and I have ordered on 3 separate occasions and have had nothing but issues.1st time: ordered two chicken Alfredo meals, one with mushrooms. Received one plain fettuccine Alfredo and one chicken Alfredo, no mushrooms and no chicken on one…2nd time: ordered two chicken Alfredo meals both with mushrooms. Received absolutely no chicken in either meal and only mushrooms…3rd time(being today): we ordered two chicken Alfredo meals, one with mushrooms. GOT OUR ORDERS RIGHT!! But had to quite literally dig our food out of the bottom of a bag. It had been packed with our food trays on they’re side, almost completely upside down. Brown bag soggy and ripping and one meal left with hardly any sauce left on it…Don’t understand the disconnect, and honestly torn about ever ordering again because for the price we pay, we expect it to be correct and it’s been everything but. We generally never complain and are very understanding especially in times of COVID, but tonight after both of us working very long shifts with nothing in our bellies for over 24 hours, we were severely disappointed…

Food was good but service was real rough. We were sat down right away and it took a little bit for our waitress to come take our drink order. Drinks came back and the waitress just placed the drinks down and said she'd be back. No straws or anything...a long while goes by and she doesn't come back. Eventually a waiter shows up and states the waitress has gotten too busy so he'll be servicing us now. He takes our order which was simply a large pizza, a sub w\ onion rings, & a Caesar salad. The kitchen didn't make the salad and after about 20 mins we asked for it. The waiter apologizes and brings the salad out and says the kitchen put it in a to go box...smh shortly after the manager brings out our pizza. At this point we've been sitting for over 45 mins. He confirms the order of the sub with onion rings and I state he is correct and he says it'll be right out. A few minutes later the waiter brings the sub and says the kitchen didn't cook the onion rings. He asks if I want him to get the kitchen to cook them now or if I just want them removed from the bill. I have them removed. The rest of the time there was fine. We did have a staff member state they were stressed out and struggling. They stated the entire staff is new and they are short staffed. This staff member was clearly having a hard time. Everyone was polite and apologetic for the service. Tonight was a rough night for them for sure. I wish they would have given us a heads up they were short staffed but at least they did explain this before I became too impatient.

I'm not sure how I have lived in Sanford for more than a decade and had never heard about Cafe Vesuvio before. I personally was wanting Pizza Hut but a friend suggested we go here and was glad to support a local place and somewhere I hadn't been before. We had a really good time - the pizza was very good and our waiter was exceptionally attentive (and mentioned to us he was new) and made sure we had everything we needed (including to-go boxes). I loved that you could build your own pizza and the mozzarella sticks were really good. I definitely have to keep this place in mind the next time I am craving Italian food. Their menu had so much to offer beyond pizza.

Local resturant in Sandford that has wonderful food and nice atmosphere, I had the Florentine Chicken and Cesar salad was fresh all of which was awesome! Only thing is wished they had was sliced bread instead of garlic knots....AlsoI shouldn't had a pie to go looked like NYC style. just the way I like it..Oh well, next time I go!

Nice casual restaurant. I enjoyed myself and the food. Menu was easy to navigate and very affordable. I ordered a Grande pizza and the slices were pretty big. Nice and hot when delivery to my table. Now that you read my review, try local.
