Greeted quickly and attendants were very friendly. Service was quick, efficient, and the food was delivered faster than expected. Food was hot and fresh (had the fried catfish dinner) and everything tasted as expected. Staff was attentive but not intrusive. Chef came out to the table to say hello and ask how the meal was.Ample parking, clean table, friendly staff, delicious food options, reasonable prices, good portions, great tartar sauce.
Had family in for the weekend & visited Bay Breeze in Sanford on Friday night. The food was Amazing. You can definitely tell that they really know how to prepare & cook seafood. And they have a huge selection that made everyone happy. The oil was obviously fresh, as all fried dishes tasted clean & only the taste of the delicious seafood came through. The waitress was extremely courteous & continued to give refills as well as any condiments our table needed; all while being a gracious host with a kind smile.. Well worth the trip to Sanford, as we don't live in this city.???
Son took me here for Mother's Day lunch. The place was packed but he and I got seated immediately. The waitress came w/ menu within 2 min. Drinks came 5 min after ordering. Food came 15 min after ordering. Waitress refilled drinks X1 and kept checking to see if needed anything and wanted to know if food was to our liking. Seafood tasty, large portions, warm and just right. For dessert had cheesecake w/strawberries. Recommend all seafood to include platters. Son tipped waitress extra cause she was so friendly and attentive. Will return to this restaurant.
A friend of mine wanted to go here. I had never been. I ordered the captains plate which had a little taste of oysters, shrimp, crab and an Alaska white fish. Everything pretty much tasted the same. I ordered it broiled and that was probably my mistake. I brought home a fried combo for my wife, and she enjoyed it. I was not impressed with the food. I will not be going back again.
Fantastic! Our server Ashley stayed on her toes even though Mother's day busy. Food is outstanding. We all had to get to go boxes as the servings were very generous. Hush puppies and blooming onion were awesome. Staff came out to sing happy birthday to my granddaughter. Ashley even took a pic for us of our whole group 11 total. We will definitely add this place to our list of favorites
Bay Breeze Seafood is amazing! They always give you plenty of food even in "The pandemic" when restaurants are giving less for the same prices they were offering before. It totally reminds me of Seafood back home in Brunswick County N.C. ?? Great food and great for a date night.?
Wanted to try this place last year but Covid got in the way. This time was better. We were seated in a far corner which was nice and quiet. Our drinks came while we checked the menu and my friend ordered the broiled salmon and I had the fried clams with fries. My friend had the house salad and it looked fresh from my place and he said it was. Our main dishes came in a short time and mine was heaped with clams even for the small order. My friends plate had a very large portion of salmon and broiled vegetables. I like fried clams and these were no exception with nice breading. I could only eat a few of the fries becuase there were so many clams. We finished without room for desert although the pecan pie was calling to me. service was good and it is a surprisingly good fish place for the middle of North Carolina. I would go again.
Words can't explain what a great experience I had at this restaurant! Our waitress Johanna was awesome and very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. Now let's talk about the food. Absolutely amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. The portion size for the money was unbelievable. Everyone had enough food to take home for another meal. You definitely get your money's worth here. Whenever I'm in Sanford North Carolina Bay Breeze Seafood is definitely a must visit! We definitely need one in Virginia.
Excellent food and hospitality… I purchased a gift card for my dad in January, the owner had no issue honoring it. Initially we had a very unfriendly waitress but she was replaced with someone extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything we had was fresh and the portions were huge. I haven’t lived in Sanford for many years (visiting from Alaska) this was an awesome experience!
Excellent seafood restaurant, fresh seafood always cooked right, plenty of friendly staff to take care of you, however it feels crowded at pick times but the wait is minimal and it is worth it.
